A 19 Team Competition
Lets have 19 teams, 19 minute quarters and a 19 game season. Let's have a photo of 19 in every household and a minutes applause when the 19th interchange rotation is used in a game. At the 19th pick in the draft we'll have John Schumann come in to sing 'I was only 19' and the first to 19 votes in the Brownlow is crowned the medallist but if they end up losing they then present the medal to the actual winner who then gets to throw a pie in their face.

RIP Brod
RIP Brod. Absolute legend. I'm a big fan of his son Ambrose and my most recent memory of Broderick is when he did the voice over on Eyes Like The Sky by King Gizzard. At Gizzfest 2018 they played this and it was a complete surprise when Brod came out to perform!

I like the idea of the Tassie Scorpions- 20th AFL Team
Talk about trying to fix a problem that doesn't need fixing. 19 teams is bananas as it does nothing for extra game revenue, screws the Gather Round concept and gives everyone a bye. But it is a whole bushel of bananas to suggest going to 20 teams purely for the sake of fixturing.- The No T$ No B$ Thread

The NFL has 32 teams which is a team per every 10 million people in the USA. The English Premier League has 20 teams which means 1 team per every 3.2 million people in England. Yes they have a pyramid structure with promotion and relegation so expand that to the EFL Championship that's 44 clubs and that's 1 team per 1.25 million people. These are leagues where this is undoubtedly the most popular sport and watched across the world. The AFL currently has 1 team per 1.4 million people in the country with the markets in each state being very different. With all this being said I'd like to know how having 20 teams better services the population. What's the big carrot?- 2023 Indigenous Guernsey
I'm a fan!- TRAINING: Monday 1st May, 2023
His last couple of shots he's just ever so slightly reverted back to that higher ball drop. I'm sure they are really putting work into this and it's going to take time to make it second nature. It's always hard with Max because the ball has further to travel to get to his foot than others! At that Sunday Captain's run I was at he really does focus on this things he needs to do to guide that ball down and I like that he'll randomly take a set shot at any time to simulate a match like situation. He's already made so much progress!- 2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
