  1. With Gawn playing his traditional Ruck and kick behind role it allowed O'Brien to do pretty much the same and he took at least 3 good intercept marks as a result. I don't know if Grundy would have helped that or not but it is something you potentially face when you elect to go with Max for a whole game and you hurry those long kicks in.
  2. I just want one team Jaded, one team, to actually take their chances against Collingwood early and bury them into a pile of quality Australian soil. It can happen and I hope it happens in finals. Better still I hope it is us that does it.
  3. No sympathy at all for these pencil necks.
  4. I've got another question, it might need someone who's watched a lot of Adelaide so hopefully a good film watcher like Binman can help. What is it specifically about Adelaide's game style that troubles the top 4 teams but can't get it done against the mid-tier teams like Essendon, GWS, Richmond, Bulldogs, Suns? Is their style suited to playing against the teams that like to full press?
  5. Chocco you are a legend, the gorup clearly means something to him and the burn is there to see things through with their development. Tom Morris you're also a legend for breaking the story (not really but you get it)
  6. PROGRESS
  7. You gotta be kidding Ugottabekidding.
  8. The wheels on the bus go round and round!
  9. I think it's a wash. They burned plenty of chances, we burned plenty as well. The end.
  10. Thought Tomlinson was decent yesterday, would be another stiff drop in a long line of drops.
  11. I'd rather they cough up in finals than now.
  12. According to a lot of people here Collingwood are no good and do nothing for 3 quarters but our win today was great because that same Collingwood only beat Adelaide by small margins as well. Just admit Collingwood are alright and we good!
  13. How long can Adelaide keep hold of Burgess? Unless he wants to stay home he's never far away from a big opportunity.
  14. I'm up for it
  15. Had higher hopes for Brown today, wasn't able to get many good leading patterns going.
  16. Tough day defending in transition and at times it seemed like we had the zone setup perfect but they threaded the needle with some really good kicks. Is this a sign of what could be coming and is there anything we can do to prevent this?
  17. The guy could not be more stellar, think his tenacity won it for us.
  18. Think our backline knows that they can do better than this and will be their own worst critics.
  19. Supersub Fairclough!
  20. Let's throw a valuable defender on top of that today.
  21. Every game a danger game from here on in, don't bring it and we'll get done. No cockyness, no arrogance, no whinging that the media aren't talking nicely about us. Get on with the job. Not having Petty today didn't help, Tommo wasn't bad but we could have used the rebound of Petty. Would like to see Hibbo back in.
  22. Yep I'm good with these
  23. Hard to explain that one. We had 17 marks inside 50 and they cut off quite a few with O'Brien and co so it wasn't really a ground ball in 50 kind of game for us. Still would have expected more than 1 tackle I50.
  24. I thought there were times when our zone was perfect and they cut us with some really good skill. Very good side in the making.
