Whether it's a great opportunity for Grundy or not, I see it altering our forward line in ways I'd rather do without. The movement we were getting out of JVR and Petty was amazing to watch, I don't see Grundy coming in and making off the ball movements like that instantly and I can see us going back to the long balls in which just don't work. It's not like for like player wise and game style wise things could change, possibly for good but it remains to be seen. Just have to wait and see.

To go from talls/mediums kicking the goals one week to our smalls chipping in the next is encouraging and shows we are building that multi pronged attack. Much harder to prepare for as an opposition.

With Petty likely out the F word comes up again at selection this week, Forward setup. The early consensus is that Grundy comes in. How much is this going to change the way our forward line looks? We had been getting the best results from having two key forwards who moved, made leads and kept their opponents guessing. I can't see Grundy offering the same kind of crafty forward movement, Brown simply doesn't look right at the moment and who knows what T-mac can offer? Selectors have their work cut out for them yet again.
