  1. Well said, he could simply be lacking confidence or going through a tough time mentally. Everyone gets it from time to time, personally I think I'm going through it right now. The mind is a strange thing sometimes, can be a situation where the harder you work or try the worse things get or the cruddier you feel. I have no idea what his state of mind is right now but it is possible. The only real thing you can do is work your way through it, might seem hopeless at times but moments like this can pass. I'm confident we'll see a big game from him shortly and he does usually perform against the Lions.
  2. Very heartening, so glad the Dockers decided to drop anchor on their season.
  3. I know it's not really a thing for footy clubs these days to use previous years for motivation but a quick play of this before to the boys couldn't hurt.
  4. Big game this week. Win and we're in, lose and we're out. Basically another different way of saying what's been said here 100 times.
  5. But they beat us in the greatest finals win of all time!
  6. 1 vote for Brayshaw? Seems like at least one of these coaches doesn't know anything about football 😝
  7. BBB usually does well against Brisbane. Looking forward to seeing what he can do in this one. Don't know if this is the one to bring JVR back for but wouldn't say no.
  8. Timely effort Chook!
  9. At the moment I'm just trying to figure out what our best forward setup is week to week!
  10. Sounds like nothing.
  11. Do we learn all that much about our chances in 2023 from this game or does this win mean nothing if we can't get past the Lions on Friday?
  12. We're going to have to get creative with our mid setup. We've always been one step ahead of the Lions in this regard and I'd love to see us bamboozle them again.
  13. I'm not totally sure what to make of this right now but I don't believe Kozzie's poor games are as a result of a lack of work rate and endeavour. Defensively he was in everything on Sat night and getting in opposition players faces, for whatever reason right now he's not able to get as much of the ball and when he was getting it his execution wasn't great. It looked like some of those turnovers were due to lazy kicking but maybe he is so much in his own head right now that it's a confidence thing? I'm not him so I don't know. I'd prefer to see him in this week and for the next few weeks to come, I believe the tide will turn. However I'm not going to say a spell at Casey wouldn't work at all.
  14. I don't think he has a grudge either and I think he's not too bad at being impartial (With maybe just a little extra excitement in Doggies games). I just think he's bang average as a caller, his timing and cadence is all wrong like an off-beat marching band and his vocal register isn't suited for the job, others can make the high pitch thing work but his voice just goes up to this comedic pitch. I don't mind Nicholson though.
  15. Eeyroreeee. Kid's party idea: Pin the tail on the Longmuir.
  16. Couldn't make this one but I do agree you see much more of the overall effort with spread and defensive pressure at the ground. I think because I'm so used to seeing it that way I thought it was fair to assume that's what was happening when watching on TV. They're a tough nut to crack the Saints, yes it would have been disappointing to lost considering they were walking wounded but most sides would be affected more by this than St Kilda.
  17. The feathered caps will be on sale if the Swans get over them in two weeks.
  18. Can take this or leave this, club game tallies get a bit overhyped but I guess it could have been an easy footnote to Salo's milestone. Not gonna go too hard on them.
  19. Freo are a joke.
  20. It can happen with a big hyper extension type movement. And cramp can be buggery
