  1. More cutting edge in front of goal, I see what you mean.

It never ceases to amaze me how few QBs actually know how to slide properly. I used to think it was a basic fundamental of being a QB but there are quite a lot who don't do it well consistently. Guys like Russell Wilson or Kyler Murray are naturals but it almost seems like if you didn’t play baseball as a kid or in college it’s just something you have to learn on the fly. I get it that players are competitive and want those extra yards but you’ve got the slide rule to help you, why risk it? As Aaron Rodgers once said: “Slide, you’re too damn talented.”

Texans Lions Chiefs No tipping the Niners again this week, another shock upset would be trouble but Gorg hanging it on me would be double.
  4. As mentioned, Cal Twomey's latest phantom draft: Cal Twomey's Phantom Form Guide: Top draft prospects' September ranking
  5. "You'll love working here, we have a flat management structure and we work hard but play harder! We have an open plan office and the CEO's desk is here so they can be with all the other troglodytes."
  6. Love a good 'lifehack'.
  7. I just love the name, it sounds made up.
  8. Yeah but Schache and Spargo were tied at no.4 in that stat so it's not the most reliable reference. Not saying it's wrong but just not enough data. In the few times I've seen Owies closely I thought he did make pressure acts but it's sounding like that's not his forte. If we're going to bring in another small forward then I want elite ability in one of these areas: - Speed - Defensive pressure - Ground work and crumbing - Goal sense and ability to split the sticks out of half chances regularly Any less than these isn't worth chasing IMO as we have enough 'nearly men' in our small forward stocks. As mentioned you guys have probably watched him a bit closer so if you think he can help with one of these then maybe it is worth it at the right price, just treading with caution
  9. Well, not all that different. Both smallish forwards in their late 20s who lead to space and don't feature much with pressure. Doesn't mean I'm not keen to hear the differences though.
  10. Why have Mcadam then?
  11. Quite a lot of threads proclaiming that it's time to go for someone with no power to do so.
  12. I hope it's announced tomorrow because I've already planned to have a good day.
  13. Who would we replace him with? Mr Magoo?
  14. What a captain obvious article.
  15. I've just been posting feel good lines in this thread the last two days, the way it's been tracking it can't get worse.
  16. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.
  17. I don't watch enough of Owies closely, does he provide pressure?

Yeah he'll be out for a couple. Another who the offense struggles without when he motions. Honestly think this game could be a coin flip Gorg.
  19. Absolute yes for Kennedy. As far as ANB replacement suggestions go this has been the best one so far. Not perfect but work rate is right up there.

Don’t even get me started with the crud that was served up yesterday. The only thing worse than rocking up on Monday after losing to the Weagles in Perth this year is rocking up after losing to SAM FREAKING DARNOLD! No-one at work follows NFL so no-one has actually said anything but you can imagine what it would be like if they did. Kyle, Kyle. You’re a decent coach, apparently an offensive mastermind, but take away the play action and you’re not left with many ideas. No CMC is absolutely killing us, Mason has been great running between the tackles but Minnesota stacked the box repeatedly and snuffed this out. No McCaffrey means no outside runs, minimal play action, no sneaky routes into the flat and as a result, no receivers getting open. Even without CMC, Kyle has two of the highest paid receivers, a great TE, a half decent power RB, a future hall of fame LT and we still can’t beat the Vikes with Sam Darnold? A very good coach but has been and continues to be overrated in my eyes. And on that I'm glad we paid Aiuik 30m to run around unsighted. Perfect example of someone who cannot get open without McCaffrey in the team, very little shake and bake when it comes to man coverage.
