    No
  2. Think he'll be in hoops next year mate
  3. The only time I've ever heard it happening was when I heard Sam Newman talk about his kidney injury in the late 60s. They took him into the rooms and left him on a rub down table where they were going to wait until half time to check on him but when they realised how serious it was he was rushed to the Alfred. But that's the only one I can think of and it was over half a century ago.
  4. These are some of my favourite threads on Demonland. I’ve said this countless times over the years but as a kid growing up as the only MFC fan in their family and minimal success during that time, I would absorb as much material as possible about our history and the legends of our club. Books, videos, old footy records you name it. It was like a solo expedition and there were few others to discuss it with. I personally get a lot out of reading posts from all of you who lived through these era or have great knowledge, I just wanted to say thank you all and please keep it up. 🙂
  5. That's why I come here to read more informed opinions like yours Luci 🙂
  6. I take this as Pert being safe.

No. This is not the way the game is going, we do need midfield depth but not at this cost. Slow and average kick at best.
  8. So good to have the whole ep, for years I relied on the 40 seconds they used on the 100 years of football video.
  9. Blue bag Houston.
  10. How so SthSea22?
  11. Make it stop.
  12. I found that a real wishy washy part of the interview saying that we didn't need an external review but that we get external advice all the time, including "one of the all blacks we had down recently". Then low and behold we're having an external review with a former All Blacks advisor. What does this all mean? The coincidence is annoying. The comms and PR coming out of the club has been complete garbage for a while now and we're constantly left to connect the dots.
  13. Haha. "Who do you want to talk to first, the guy in the bumblebee suit or the guy with the bone in his hair?"
  14. Turner isn't mid-sized.
  15. Exactly. Kids don't care about the news, it's boring. Kids want to see zany antics, wow factor, dancing, animals close up with a wide-angled lens etc.
  16. Same here and if you're not utilising it you're not in the game. Things are time sensitive, attention spans are short. Email marketing campaigns for promotions and competitions are great but if you happen to enter one and then have to wait days or weeks for the result, the engagement is lost. What we need is Social Media campaigns with "First person to answer this wins X" Or "Enter this competition, results drawn at 6pm TONIGHT". These people are going to be spending their free time on these platforms regardless, make sure they spend it on your channel.
  17. Giveaways and calls to action, you just need someone who knows half a thing about what they're doing with the socials. We tend to lean on the email marketing quite heavily still, which is fine but that's not where the majority of the target market is.
  18. Does that mean we're actually lucky to be where we are on that chart because of Trac?
  19. If we're looking to develop our rebound game with angled kicks through the corridor off half-back then this would probably fit the bill. Does appear to be more the wing type but would likely spend his early days as a rebounding HBF. I'm not totally sold on his outside game but do have that gut feeling that sleeping on him could be dangerous. If we did end up with pick 25 and he was available I'd consider.
  20. The Andrews report in 2011? Yeah that's still buried in the backyard somewhere..
  21. The only thing you're guilty of is those weekend trips to Home Depot.
