That's enough fooseball tonight, a Pies defeat will do it for me. Off to a Chris Cornell tribute gig now.

Logan tried to kick the cover off it. Strange as he's got a decent leg
  8. Rivers seemed a bit lax when taking that kick with 30 seconds to go. Slow to get up and of all times to turn your back to goal that wasn't one of them, you need to get it in quick. With the ball having just been in 50 I find it hard to believe we didn't have any tall timber up there ready for it. The kick was obviously going to the top of the square yet Sparrow was the marking target, where was Turner, JVR or even Max? If we're going to delay a kick like that so long then I'd expect to see the usual suspects lurking.

Thought Dirk looked great last night. Hopefully an extended run coming. Tholstrup - Jack Gunston
  11. One of the better debuts you'll see
  12. Put in a hell of a shift. Keep him in. Hopefully a rising star nom in the bank.
  13. Played our hearts out tonight and proud of the performance but it was clear that we ran out of gas. Started the last quarter with Petty and Langdon missing set shots that would have given us some ascendency. When we finally got it in the 50 after several minutes we got pinged for holding the ball and on another rare entry Sparrow blazed away out on the full. These needed to be forward 50 stoppages to conserve some energy but the continued to be played at breakneck speed, it was only a matter of time before the dam wall broke.

    6. Pickett 5. Viney 4. Oliver 3. Gawn 2. Van Rooyen 1. Rivers
  15. First impression was that it would have been in any part of the game other than the last minute.
  16. For now we just need to be proud of the guys and their efforts for the most part tonight.
  17. Eat my shorts Shelbyville
  18. Can the misses in the last quarter be simply down to fatigue? We were really run off our legs and couldn't lock it in 50 for long enough.
  19. AMW rising star?
  20. I'd go as far as to say we only needed a few forward 50 stoppages and we couldn't even get that. Fritsch's HtB on our first entry for ages then Sparrow streaming away from the middle and kicking out on the full. Then you look at Petty and Langdon's misses. These moments could have helped us to conserve some energy, instead we got run off our feet.
  21. Hurts so bad. Can't fault the effort tonight, that performance will beat most teams. Just ran out of puff. Proud effort.
  22. Why did Rivers take forever to bomb it?
  23. Didn't do enough
  24. Fritta left..
