The Go Home Factor
If an interstate player wants to leave, who is still contracted, then the Club must be compensated with a decent trade. That’s business, you are saying we shouldn’t touch interstate players…. I am glad we picked Jackson, as he was pivotal in helping to win Flag 13 Trade Player Movement is a part of the modern game

PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 17th January 2025
Most of the outside world have us finishing 15-16 this year. It will be very special if we can get back to finals this year. Hopefully the whole Football Department has set a Standard that will not be compromised.

Trac cracked rib
It’s a contact sport. I like the fact that we are training and tackling hard. It was a serious part of our game 3-4 seasons ago Make the opposition earn every possession in all parts of the ground

The Legacy Series | Episode 2 | Hassa Mann
Back in the 90’s when Hassa was CEO i rang the Club to ask about something, possibly ’95 when everything on field was going pear shaped!! But i was put through to Hassa and he chatted with me for over an hour on what he and Stuie Spencer were trying to do on a very limited budget It was fantastic, he could have easily given me 5 minutes, but no, Hassa understood the Supporters as much as the Club. I had 29 on my Jumper as a 5 year old, when Hassa retired it became 26….

The Legacy Series - Episode 1, Robert Flower
Robbie was the most consistently fine Player in the league, he was still dancing around opponents and flying gracefully through the air in 1987. He shone in every State Game he played in He played a lot of his football in the midfield running past umpires controlling the ball on both sides of his body How could he be missed? Corruption 101

HAPPY NEW YEAR … AND THANK YOU
2025. May it be a significant year in the Rich Long History of the MFC I expect all of our experienced Players to have an excellent year, that is why they are signed to lucrative contracts I want the Players to push the standards up, regardless of what the Media Analyst spews out each week Number 14 is the aim for us all
