  1. You are right, but i am still concerned. We are going to be the little neighbour
  2. The AFL are selling tickets to these meaningless games as well, i get it but i don’t have to agree with it
  3. I know. But $195 Mill is a huge amount for a school to pay, without any building costs even added. To borrow that amount would add another $30 Mill give or take
  4. You could well be right, but it wouldn’t suprise me at all if they already had the money ready to go
  5. I am well aware, am also very aware of the interest the Bank would charge to borrow that amount.
  6. They won’t be borrowing that amount of money….
  7. If the MRC Debts are being cleared, sure sounds like Scopus is paying Cash.. I would be a concerned neighbour if that was me….
  8. Travel/Injury factors. The games are a meaningless risk
  9. An interstate practice match, what a load of Rubbish, on a ****ty little ground Unbelievable, but typical of AFL arrogance All practice matches should be played in Victoria concerning The MFC…
  10. I am a bit concerned at how much money Mt Scopus are paying for their land. $195 million is a huge commitment and it will mean they have a large say in what happens in the future, regardless of promises made now. The MFC must tread very carefully with this, I would be extremely wary. Paying that sort of money will definitely give them a voice at Council Meetings….
  11. I have heard this said many times during preseason, so far…..
  12. As long as we aim for a Top 4 Finals berth, these Interstate Players should stick around. Meth Coke still have a few lean years ahead of them Fremantle are just Fremantle….😎
  13. Better get a real good one….
  14. Yes i think the Club should challenge this scenario, Gus deserves his full payday, but not at detriment of future list management
  15. and Hilary from Croydon who has been a member for 74 years!! 😁
  16. Could be a future Captain, he has been interviewed a lot over the last week. Very enthusiastic and he wants to succeed
  17. By the time it’s built it will be $130+Mill We are still years away
  18. You cannot excuse any player for not chasing hard in todays game. once they cross the white line, it’s on I am a big fan of Fritta, but 2024 was well below his best I am sure he knows that himself
  19. and let’s hope he applies more forward pressure next season, would make him an even better player than he already is
  20. Not suprised by this at all, more suprised he didn’t do it the monday after the GF. He was a shattered man at the Press Conference after the Game… His Boys don’t fire shots in GF’s lately…
  21. A Player who can run hard all day, up and down the ground never goes out of fashion, regardless of Gamestyle We will miss ANB, because he was always in the team, now he is not This Summer i hope we can find a replacement, at this stage it is to hard to say who it will be. I hope the Footy Department are working to find a young player with serious endurance who can grow into the role
  22. Cricket Australia is looking down the barrel at a Meth Coke level rebuild. They should have begun the process 12 months ago, but instead we had to have the Cheats Farewell tour. We now have a huge problem
  23. Yes, a fair assessment!!! 😁
