  1. This is certainly a year where the Club has to set a high benchmark. We simply have to have a good year, otherwise the media are going to rip us to shreds, which will in turn make it that much harder to entice players to play for us… it’s all in Fella’s See you in September
  2. Jeeelong just being Jeeelong ā€Nothing to see hereā€¦ā€
  3. I am really glad this has happened, after last year it is exactly what was needed. The Football Department look each other in the eyes and lay it all out in front of everyone, every one gets a chance to have their say. Last year we sporadically played some good games, but the team wasn’t playing as one. Players were trying, but they were playing as 22 individuals A few things need to go our way this year, a few players need to ā€œStep up and improveā€ and play that way each week If the attitude is Team Oriented and they really meant it. we have the Talent to be a serious contender Fritsch and JVR need to be the core of a cohesive forward line, for starters. The Players have to be hard on themselves (walk the talk)
  4. Brayshaw to Half Back, Howe can sit on the Bench Aaron Davey on the wing
  5. There are Too many Rules, there should be more play on situations keep the ball moving….no need to shorten quarters Limit Rotations off the Bench to 40 a game Problems are all solved
  6. I honestly believe the Players have to set a standard, between themselves. Which is basically what happened during the preseason of ā€˜21 The Players have to demand 100% commitment to the Season We have serious talent and leadership on our list, these players must inspire the younger guys to ā€œget betterā€ Max can inspire, that is why he is (C)
  7. I remember watching the Game live in the ABC newsroom. Rod Owen, such a shame he did his knee after only a 1-2 more games
  8. An attacking runner off Half Back. A position we have lacked his Angus went down i don’t think Salem is up to it anymore…
  9. Ridiculous Statement When Peter Jackson came in to the MFC, he had the place running properly in 2-3 weeks the CEO is a critical role
  10. No you are scared to recruit the Best in the Land, because they might leave… List Management should always be focused on getting the best talent available into the Club
  11. If an interstate player wants to leave, who is still contracted, then the Club must be compensated with a decent trade. That’s business, you are saying we shouldn’t touch interstate players…. I am glad we picked Jackson, as he was pivotal in helping to win Flag 13 Trade Player Movement is a part of the modern game
  12. You pick the best Talent available and run a Professional organisation stop being so insular
  13. Most of the outside world have us finishing 15-16 this year. It will be very special if we can get back to finals this year. Hopefully the whole Football Department has set a Standard that will not be compromised.
  14. Depends how hard the Shockers are prepared to Deal. Who makes us Better…
  15. Take a chill pill šŸ’Š please. Don’t people understand humour anymore?
  16. Oh my Lord, I pity the poor bloke who edits the Wedding Video 😁
  17. ā€œMarvellous Effort, that….ā€
  18. It’s a contact sport. I like the fact that we are training and tackling hard. It was a serious part of our game 3-4 seasons ago Make the opposition earn every possession in all parts of the ground
  19. We deserved to be 14th last year It was needed. The serious review was needed…
  20. The bottom sides have talent now, North may win 6-8 games next season, but there could easily be 5 close losses
  21. There isn’t much between the Comp now I consider every game hard to win now
  22. Back in the 90’s when Hassa was CEO i rang the Club to ask about something, possibly ’95 when everything on field was going pear shaped!! But i was put through to Hassa and he chatted with me for over an hour on what he and Stuie Spencer were trying to do on a very limited budget It was fantastic, he could have easily given me 5 minutes, but no, Hassa understood the Supporters as much as the Club. I had 29 on my Jumper as a 5 year old, when Hassa retired it became 26….
  23. Oh man i can feel that breakingā€¦šŸ˜£
  24. Ahh yes the Memories of John Howard in the Pineapple šŸ Shirt…. Cringeworthy
  25. Yes they certainly are!!!
