Very Prudent Move by the MFC this one. Heard tim Harrington on KB this morning. Good idea to lock the S.A Boys into that extra year, stagger the contracts of our recriuts over a period of years. Don't want every body up for renewal while the Gold Coast & Western Sydney Vultures circle. Yes i am quietly Amazed at Arsenal..we do not have 50% of some of these Arab Based Teams Budget. But just Keep Firing. Arsene Venge must be an amazing man to pull those teams together. The teams who sold out to Arab interests could be in a whole lot of trouble if there is a couple more credit squeezes. I hope they have some sort of Plan B going forward. I doubt Arsenal will finish Top at seasons end, but at the same time they could do it, even with serious injuries to goal scorers this year we are up there. Lets Hope The Demons develop the same sort of culture regardless of who plays in the team

Do those 2 teams get 20 wickets very often? i am no expert on those 2, but i havent heard of any great bowling performances on the news or radio at all. I am always worried they are Hungry rather than how well they played. Zimbabwe is such a mess-unnecesarily too which makes it even sadder...

Yes you are probably right, but the point i was trying to make i suppose is ...A poor batting line up will make the odd big score more than a bad bowling attack will take 20 wickets. Would take a while to collect the data but would be interesting to see the percentages on that.

Interesting Stat that one and they were certainly 3 Great Sides. I agree that Bowling is being made more difficult particularly those bloody roads they prepare in India when sub continent Teams seem to play. Would be interesting to know how many Bad Bowling attacks have taken 20 wickets in 5 days against a good batting attack...very few i would bet.

I can only remember Allen Jakovich on the bench once it was out at Victoria Park, John Northey dragged him in the first Q He came back on and kicked a bag. The last time we played at the Filths ground i think We won it was a marvelous day!!! I would always have Jacko on the ground. When he was "on" he was even more "on" than Jeff Farmer. Both were Brillianrt. If only Jako didn't have such a crappy back-he would have kicked a Ton numerous times.

You mention "when our young talented list Matures"...You do realize that if Bailey and the FD had not coached the way they have over the last 2 years We would not have half of those Talented Young players. So please do not say the last 2 years were meaningless. Frustrating yes BUT not meaningless. Richmond's last 2 years have been meaningless....There is a huge difference.

You really are a Hard Man to please. I saw a lot last year that excited me, and you are not taking into account that Bailey & co definately had the Handbrake on for a lot of the year 2009. From your elevated position this year i think you will see a lot of DB's work come to fruition.

Those new Jumpers look Sharp as, New Era New jumper that looks more like the Demon of old... i like it.
