DO people seriously think spencer will come straight into the side? IT was his first game back for casey 2's on saturday. He is at least 3-4 weeks off. Will only play casey 1s now jamar is out!

How the hell do you come to that conclusion? if you base that on the game Valenti played, Mclean had 37 touches and was close to BOG. I for one will admit brock has been up and down but brock is miles ahead of Valenti.

These would be perfect changes!!! Robbo and mclean had about 14 touches between them. Robbo is close to finished while mclean is to up and down. I've been a big brock fan, but he just can't get away with that poor performance. Junior is unfortunately gone... i love him but his time is up... I would love beamer as captain. Is doing everything right on the field and off. This week has taken all the first year players on a boxing camp down at Warnnabol. Think he is def captain matarial.

Sandilands will be back and pav only half a chance. THey were ok against the lions and were close to winning. Both sides will want to win this one desperately!!

Goodes will tear us up next week i think so we won't beat the swans. North have been close a number of weeks just havent got over the line. The tigers i think will be keen to beat us after last time. I have actually found they love to give it to watts... They use him quite a bit.. Played mainly on the wing today. Looked ok, but it was truly horrible conditions, i almost had to tie myself to the fence to stand still!!!

I agree with you freak in terms of that there were and still are players playing better footy at casey. And they have put him ahead of a few players. But he is far from useless, and has been solid enough at casey. Like Jurrah and i think guys like Hughes might not dominate at vfl level but enjoy the space and cleaner skills of AFL level.

Bit harsh on watts. thought he and hughes played team games by moving up the ground and blocking the corridor really well. they might not have had much of it but held up collingwood well.

Aussie would have to come back through casey anyway, by the time he plays 3-4 games melbournes season will be over and casey will be in finals too!

Bit harsh on hughes' goal being a gift... yeah he did get a 100 metres penalty, but it was a good mark in defense and he was 35 metres out and into that breeze it was a 70m kick! He was the only one to kick a goal at that end in the first half when the breeze was strong! i also noticed he spent a bit of time on the bench especially late in the game. Went into the rooms a few times. hopefully not another injury!!! Batram was fantastic and will be pushing for selection... his speed is a big bonus for him, as he gains confidence and hopefully learns his limitations will be a good player. PJ was really good, he was against little oppposition but did dominate. Newton and miller were average. yes they kicked 4 but were late in the game and did little in the first half.

Playing at casey tomoro!! Good idea to send him back, and make him earn his spot back in the side. Should be a lot better for the run in the big time and have more influence at vfl level.

I think you'll find he is really struggling with his back injury. it may end up being quite serious, it will be made worse by his inability to be professional outside of footy i think. In saying that he was far form there worst against port and it was his first game back form injury. but sadly in a massive game for the lions being left out i think ,eams he is in big trouble

Wow what a grab... I think you will also find that in 2004 he came 3rd overall. WHen he was playing at hampton rovers, he called for a handball from the oppostion who gave it up to him in front of goal. Also in the final was jordan lewis kicking an amazing goal..

Bell has had 2 bog in a row, he must also be a chance. Jurrah could also be rested in the coming weeks. HE and watts might be rotated in and out. Rookie valenti and hughes must be giving a chance to prove themselves also
