Can't believe Spencer got a game. Good to see Aussie back although i'd have Jetta in ahead of him. Joel Mac and Morton are good inclusion. Bruce is no huge loss. Hughes i thought was massively stiff. Was our best forward last week and was just finding his feet. Took 7 marks and presented well. Especially considering they are bringing Miller in, i mean talking about having little effect on a contest. Maybe a farewell game? He has shown maybe a good game followed by 3 shockers!

Im with you. His stats were better than Watts actually. I hope our supporters relax on Watts and treat every player equally. Just because he was number doesn't he deserve more than the last rookie selection. I know he is going to be a gun. But seriously clapping him in the warm up?

i was in having a MRI scan last week and Col was in there having scans on his leg. Not sure if was his hammy or something else. I think it's more of a fitness issue.

Miller has had his go. He's played nearly 100 games and has shown he isn't up to. Would prefer Newton ahead of him. At least give Hughes and Watts 8-10 games to show there worth. And yesterday We could have had brown and Pavlich and they would have struggled with the delivery.

He struggles with a tag. He probably could work a bit harder to get into the game but he does need his team mates to help him out.

It was bad delivery. The thing i couldn't work out and Triple MMM was why all our forwards came up. We never had the numbers in our forward line!

Bate-Injured don't hate???? Can't mark over his head or out in his hands. Gets caught out because he can't kick on his right foot. Interesting to read the stats with our forwards. Johnson horrible. Watts and Hughes had very similar stats and for guys in the 2nd and 4th games did ok with shocking delivery. Bennel just doesn't do enough but may be playin out of position. Grimes just needs to settle. Tries to play on far to much. It really hurt us today even though he was good. Bruce whats happened? He is really struggling. Might be out with a hammy. Overall very disappointing from our senior players. Sylvia, Davey, Green, and Bruce really struggled to have an influence.

Not sure how you can drop Hughes. he was actually our best forward. Had the most mark of our forwards and if it wasn't for our poor kicking would have had more. Bate is slow. yeah he hurt his ankle but how does that stop him from marking out in his hands. At least learn how to kick on your right foot. Sylvia just isn't fit.

He trained with the main group today. This means he is in the mix! As miller and Hughes did last week with only Hughes getting the call. Sylvia was under an injury cloud last week with Jetta at the game as an emergency, but has trained this week.

Yeah to add to that he took a team high 6 marks. If you look at the stats Johnson had 0. Jamar i think may have had 1 and a few others 1 or 2 that usual take more... sorry don't have the stats in front of me!

Was very very far from BOG on saturday.. still drops marks when he is 20m in the clear. Still just plodding a long and will on play if every one else falls over.

After viewing the game the one thing with Maric is he needs to go in and get the footy more. Is very classy and uses it well. But fails to want the footy and get it on his own. Watts was very good and found space. took a great one hander then weave around and kick the goal. The one thing he needs to do is demand the ball more. He was open a few times after good leads and should have been used but needs to yell and scream and demand it. As his confidence grew he did this. Not sure why people are rating millers game. Dropped some very easy marks. Got on the end of some good play at times and didn't stand out. Newton worked harder than miller, used his body well just didn't get any reward. His only goal came from diving in the goal square when the ball was 70m away. Gysberts was very good. Uses the ball very well. Very smart player too and is quick. Joel mac was ok. Didn't dominate but was good. Still don't think Spencer can play. Cheney was good. Very solid and is coming a long nicely. Wonna is still getting fitness and touch back. Still a few weeks off but is getting better. Jetta is dangerous, gets himself into good positions. He isn't lightning quick but chases hard. Morton still hasn't added a kilo. Looked classy with a good goal. The one thing that impressed me was in the 3qtr and the result known he was in defence and the ball was bombed over his head. He stood his ground and got crunched for it. Got straight up and went on with his game.

Yeah 50m out with a wet ball and your first kick in AFL is an easy kick... Can't think of a time when he was useless below his knees either. Let's not forget his first game he lined up on an all australian in Brian Lake and he did pretty well, also in the last quarter i think he did really well.

So Hughes stays? thought he did well and might cost Dunn his spot..

Simple he wasn't dropped he missed the finals with a back injury.
