With pre season training beginning tomorow i heard that Daniel Hughes has been asked to do a pre season with us. After missing the whole season with a groin operation. I hear they are fairly keen on him down there. (heard from people at sandy) Do we know anyone else that is going to be training with us? Usually some of the delisted players also keep training with to.

Who cares really, one plyer has a few too many to drink on mad monday, another player falls over trying to help him. i mean most of our supporters are tools unfortunetly. Some people really need to get a life! its no suprise it was carrol and miller, there the only two to show some fight on the ground!!! Was bruce hiding in the corner?

how does everyone know how he was inside the group? From a young rookie i spoke to he said he was very good at training, knew the set ups very well and was more helpful than others. And once they'd finished he was a bit of a practical joker and had a bit of fun. Everyone is different we cant expect all players to be part time law students away fromt the game. I know its a totally pointless arguments anyway just thought id chip in. Also im very happy with the trade, even more after watching Grimes on the weekend. I just wish trav all the best.

bate is very unco i think. Will struggle in a poor side but would be handy in a good side. Will never be a star. As long as he has a crack he will be usefull.

is your argument based on 1 game? Pretty sure he hurt his hammy early and was only on for 60% of the game. I think he has had a pretty good year for them. It is always hard for a player to change clubs and get use to a new environment especially after ten years with 1. He also only ever had 1 coach. Getting a bit old people taking pot shots at him now he is not even at our club!! Move on losers

to be honest its just valenti is not good enough, tries hard, would love him to do well but just isnt up to afl level.

With regards to 38, at sandy yesterday i heard that danny hughes (a rookie from last year) will be given a permission to train for the preseason. He had this year off with hip/groin surgery.

Yeah the old heard from a friend story! Wouldnt listen to most them! I saw colin out saturday night at metropol, his girlfriend went to school with mine. He is a really top bloke. Had a quick chat, briefly about footy. The op really set his runing and kciking back but feels he is getting better month by month. Said he loves playing the game and that probably set him back because he was playing when he prob shouldnt be. So rumours aside he seemed pretty commited during the season but said he was prettyt excited about the end of season trip!

I think they should, pathetic and totally embarrassing. No point singling out anyone but there are a few that should never play afl again.

She was quite happy to get on t.v and take some good publicity so really not sam's fault at all. I cant work out why people continually have a go at sam! I mean if you dont like a comedian you dont sit down and watch them every week do you. People are to politically correct now a days. i thought it was very funny even if he meant to say it. Dont like it turn off and stop whinging!!!! I suppose sad people needed to sook about something now BB is off air.

THis is getting stupid the sylvia bashing! I thiunk you'll find it was kicked straight to sylvia but chris johnson actually came in from the side and spoiled him. He went into the game as a full forward but had to work up the ground because we were getting smashed so i thought it wasnt really a poor game from him. I still cant believe people would rather back dunn who just watches a player run around all day, than back a bloke that has a crack. Col goes harder at the ball than anyone else in our side i think.

I'm guessing you missed the first qtr where he didnt go back with the flight of the ball after having a look? Was a very worrying sign. He really struggles with his disposal often going sideways! But should be played out the year and he hopefilly proves me wrong!!!

Did you mean hayes or hughes? Hayes never really looked likely, but hughes looked pretty good i thought more size about him though.

Yeah i thought he did say he was selfish, that was what he told them he was sledging him with. Pick 14 turns out an average tagger. He needs to look at good taggers like ling and rawlings, they actually look at the ball and can read the play. I'd prefer to see dunn be a creative mid fielder. see if he can cut it or not.

he was sensational. Very good around the ground, has a great kick on him. Would like him to back himself a bit more and kick long. I also thought jamar continues to contest very well.

Newton was horrible. so slow and cant read the play, god lucky with a couple of goals. I think people are being hard on sylvia, tried hard i thought and didnt have much luck, dont forget he was playing half forward with little supply had to go down and get it himself. Mcdonald was also shocking, should never play again -youth policy

Did anyone else hear after the game brent harvey on triple m. He had a good swipe at Dunn, saying basically dunn is selfish and just follows his own opponent and doesnt tackle other players. I have to agree with boomer, dunn just runs around watching a player all day. Fails to actually have an impact at all and then tries to be tough but really just gave away silly free kicks.
