he was ok today, lets not forget it was his first game this year... so he was 3 games behind some. He did provide a target and straighten us up... With robbo due back soon i think it will only help him..

Not sure who gave watts the 2 goal but he only kicked one... I think with valenti a good vfl player might all he will be. gets a lot of it but doesn't have great kick, hands are just ok. Is not good over head... So not sure about him but we will see. Grimes should come pretty much straight in.. Robbo as well... I would like to see Jurrah get a run... he is more likely to enjoy the freedom of Afl.... Hughes' mark was massive and he also played a very good game... especially his bump in the last qtr

While maric did play well for casey in the last three quarters he was still struggling for a bit of fitness... at afl level he would struggle and maybe get caught out a little so might need another week, still could fit in that side i think... Still cant believe people think spencer should be in the side for PJ, i admit he has struggle but spencer was well beating at vfl level... has done nothing to get a recall!!!

i think its good to play watts in the 2s, just because playing against port melbourne, the top team... in terms of gf last year and smashing the reigning premiers... But if he did play ones look at that forward line... Also those that watch will see (mandy) moore was promoted.. He kicked 5 last week (4 in the 2nd qtr) He is basically the same as newton! I mean this in the way he has talent, can mark and a pretty good shot at goal. But can go missing and misdirects a lot of aggression...

i grew up in the area and always followed sandy so it was a prefect match.... now i will follow casey and sandy... although when sautner goes i will mainly follow sandy!!! i really dislike him!!!

THose that want spencer in obviously didnt watch casey's game on sunday.... Even though i think PJ is massively struggling is still a better option than spence... Maric should be in, only if fitness is still an issue!! Also a side note is blease far off a casey game if watts is playing?

THose that want pj dropped for spencer must give it some serious thought. Spencer was killed again this time in the vfl. Mcevoy and someone else had a field day on him. He is a horrible user of the ball.. I know pj is struggling but we dont have anyone else atm... He needs some confidence and i agree the vfl might do this as he did win the medal from about 11 games a few years ago.... Not sure why he doesnt have the confidence to take on the afl like that!!

Maric should definately be in line for a call up... With robbo it is hard to tell because we were smashed he didnt get much of a chance. Jurrah probably didnt do enough although did pressure well at times. Zomer was disappointing. A few contest just didnt put in enough. one resulting in sautner taking a easy mark on the goal line. Mcnamara was half back and on ball. Should be in the seniors next week. I'll be honest and say im not sure who healey was, a lot of similar type of players... I found i knew a lot more sandy players than casey. Also i did see Jack Watts walking around. First time i have seen him in the flesh. Very tall young man, Not as skinny as i thought. I dont think he will be to far away to be honest.....

Just got back from sandy. Saw both games... Seniors was an embarrasment. Sandy kicked the first 6 and casey never looked likey. Only Maric was worth a mention. Was very good. He started on a flank but then just ran all day and used the ball fairly well. Jurrah didnt get many oppurtunities but took a very good mark. He was quick across the ground and caused a few turnovers from this. Robbo was ok. Didnt get much of a chance but missed a few chances... Valenti was very lucky to be in the best. Struggled but tried hard all day. Was targeted by his former teammates. From the ressies.. whelan played about a half for fitness and was good. Mcnamara was very good. Strauss was ok. Maybe not have him take the kick outs for a while, at one stage he took it and turn it straight over but the sandy player missed the shot, then took the next kick out and turned it over straight away this time for a goal. But other than that he looked fairly good. Also to mention danny hughes played his first game for 14 months. Played the second half and looked a class above the rest. Hopefully gets more game time next week but wont be far off the seniors soon.

i also agree that PJ is just lacking confidence... i think he should have more confidence in his kicking skills. He has a great long left foot kick, but fails to use it, especially when outside 50 and in scoring distance.

totally agree... all good running around getting 30 touches but its about know your limitations... bruce and especially mcdonald cannot spot up a target, either handball off or a 30 metre chip pass. sick of seeing bruce butcher the ball or mcdonalds long bombs that go 50m up and 30m straight!

9th was pretty good considering he missed couple of games and was at a new club... i still see it as a win win.. the main reason why we traded him and not bruce or green was simply the fact that travis is the best player. And other clubs all know that.... he always copped the hardest tag each week and made it easier for those guys...

Our forward line was the major concern so we won't drop miller surely.... I agree with yze_magic though bruce is getting frustrating, He and davey will need to lift and play like senior players or suffer the same fate as Yze... Sylvia is a must... Try dunn forward again i think!!!! Bennell and frawley out for mine.. Frawley is still horrible when the ball is on the ground

I don't think Jetta is slow it's more of a fitness issue. Skills and decision making is still horrid.. we really need to get the ball in the hands of our more skilful players like green Davey is a major disappointment so far, but at only round 1... Has to improve though because there is pressure for his spot now with maric, jetta, jurrah and so on

hey at least he choose us over carlton!!! Bomber riley asked him to go train with carlton! Also bate and dunn were dropped from the side that finished last, they have a up hill battle getting back into the side. Also robbo nay struggle to get to afl fitness and newton the jury is out. But the one player you missed was a pretty obvious one ill give you his initials J.W

If carlton want him they will pick him up in the National draft. It is now possible for players to nominate. If they leave it to the preseason he MIGHT be picked up before them. Not sure to many clubs would be interested to be honest.

Finally a rumour i heard that is true!!! Let's face it he is not a huge loss. We have been setting a clear example with contracts. Not paying to much!

Has Chris Johnson re-signed? I heard from someone at Sandy that he was only offered a one year contract from Melbourne and that Carlton have offered him two. When do the list lodgements have to be in?

Yeah a few errors with post including the years was 06/07 and 06 wasnt injured that much and played most of the season including a bag of 6 down here in tassie! And this season he was recovering from surgery i think the club told him not to risk injury. But mainly give the guy a chance!!!!!!! Dont bag players that could be drafted! Some people are just sad really
