Yep. We need to find efficient ways to goal when we have the ascendancy. Too often we bash our heads against a defence, only to get hosed at the other end.

Cunnington, Higgins, Hogan, Lewis & Salem should have all got a week. -
It would help if we stopped kicking it down their throats. We have to find alternative ways to goal. Bombing it to the hot spot won't cut it for long; especially without a viable marking target.

Kent looks good running towards our goal, but has no idea what to do when he has to come up to meet the ball, then turn towards goal with an opponent between him and the goal. No tricks.

Dean Kent running for the ball, Scott Thompson coming the other way, Kent takes a sidestep and sticks out a speculative hand, Thompson gathers the ball and keeps going straight ahead. Very bad look.

There are at least 5 US college stadiums with 100,000+ capacity. There are 30 or 40 with capacity over 70,000. -
Once Joe Daniher had slaughtered Essendon's confidence, it was all Melbourne.
