  1. Bruest returns for Hawks, he’s always good for a few goals against us. Hibberd hopefully fresh for the big task. Mitchell Lewis will be a handful for our defenders - in saying that May should be up for his 200th and maybe the whole defensive group will be up for him! Dees by 39pts. #godees #freeVanRooyen
  2. Hasn’t Van Rooyen impressed. These two look to be further nailed picks in the National Draft.
  3. The problem with Geelong doesn’t stop at it’s list, but off field as well. Cook may have been onto something… may have… Don’t think for one second with the exit of Scarlett, Enright and Matty Knights - there is ‘nothing to see here’. What makes Chris Scott tick? If you believe the rumors, coaches and assistants don’t see eye to eye 👁 Let’s just say there was a bit of frustration in the last quarter of the Round 23 encounter in the Geelong coaches box. And a lack there of … proactiveness, much to Scarlett’s frustration. Is it any wonder, Scott is now putting up his hand, hollering for a Ross Lyon!
  4. Taj reasonably quiet for the statistician. He’s had plenty of game time. Scoreboard platters SA, WA should be a few goals at least in front. Very inaccurate. SA has a sniff.
  5. Last night I watched the Grand Final with SEN commentary with Huddo, Whateley, with *some special comments from Lewis, Healy. It had its pros and cons. Huddo and Whateley were exceptional, so too Lewis. You couldn’t hear the umps which was ok. Best of all, was you didn’t have to listen to BT and Brayshaw. I’ll leave it at that. However, I missed Daisy but certainly not Carey. *The one negative was Healy for mine. Critical of a Bulldog player for not crunching Oliver in the back with a knee when there was an opportunity early. Saying that it was ok to do it in a Grand Final. What a spud for special comments. Overall a much better alternative of commentary than Seven.
  6. Another example of the good work implemented by Darren Burgess and medicos. Was keen on Ben Brown as far back as when he was at Werribee early days, before being picked up by North. Kudos to Brown for turning around his form, having strengthened his knee. Was so close to a Coleman Medal at North - “snatched” by Jeremy Cameron in a day out in the last round a few years ago. A premiership player, and now a big part of history at the Melbourne Football Club.
  7. Thanks Rogue, We are Premiers!! 💪🏼❤️💙🏆 You were there!? So so jealous. What a season. They performed well and consistently throughout, but really instilled belief when coming back from 44pts down and winning that game at Geelong in Round 23. Minor Premiers and it help set up a successful finals campaign. Darren Burgess was very important and the medical team - just hope his understudy has everything in hand for the off season. Congratulations to all Demonlanders - too many to mention. However well done to the mods, Nasher, Demonland - Thankyou! went through some tough tough times - wouldn’t wish it on any supporter what we’ve put up with. The premiership does a lot for the club and fans, they say MFC is about feast or famine when it comes to premierships and drought. Let’s hope it’s real feast time!
  8. 91’ team was a good team, speaking to past players the consensus was that 1990 was the year they felt got away in terms of the Premiership. This was a great game for Demon fans and one the league took great notice of one A.Jakovich. Undoubtedly his best game for the Dees.
  9. Let’s split it. Two picks in the 100’s.....the possibilities are unreal.
  10. Gee I haven’t missed much in a few weeks. Viney is still 4-5 weeks.
  11. I don't see it. They have re-signed McGovern and they may look to get Gibbs in. They may come to the realisation something has to give, they have quality defenders and probably not a lot of room to move given what Lever may command.
  12. Too much imo. Just pick 10 should do it.
  13. Frost signs and they all go running ..... Just because he signs, doesn't necessarily mean we are out of leverage... Could be that the Crows aren't interested in him (could be another player and/or just pick 10), or we require some depth down back, and we're not prepared to let go of him - he's required...
  14. What ever the case, these days Carlton don't travel there, and haven't for a long time. So it's no real biggie.
  15. Whilst every win is important, and to end such significant hoodoo's or get the monkey off the back so to speak.....this game to me has more importance than any of the other previous lost games streak v North. Given where we were as a club, and where we are at this point - a candidate for top 4. Win this:- • and top 4 is still a very good chance • closer to cementing finals for 2017, first time since 2006. • could well be the final nail in Brad Scott's coffin as Norf coach. • could help Norf achieve wooden spoon.
  16. May our thoughts go to those suffering the low pressure system which was Cyclone Debbie at the moment. From where it crossed the flattened land and to today where parts of Sth east Qld can expect up to 500mm. thankfully the banana plantations remain mostly okay unlike the damage inflicted by cyclone Larry and Yasi. So the good news you ask? Banana prices to remain steady for the time being unless supply is affected by transport - which could be likely, given this storms nature.
  17. I think you've brought this up before picket. Just had deja`vu. Fell free to pm BBO if you want to express your B$ love and romance, but leave this discussion here to 'no B$' and bananas.
  18. Getting my hands on Season 5 the end of this week. I'm going back-2-back - I'll be feeling like that bloke who caught up before his date. Tired.
  19. Very observant of you Ernest. Perhaps Bitters can be referred to as the 'package'... God knows Stringer hasn't been living up to that in recent weeks...
  20. Ernie, Entertaining is his game. No problem for Bitters, he'll blend in and go in unnoticed in Switzerland. Like the time as a late teen in his modelling days...the judges couldn't pick him!
  21. Sometimes pictures help tell us a thousand words Ernest. And I reckon that would be Bitters shirt; he doesn't mind catching a few rays on the Suzuki.
  22. He is a master of disguise BB, he spent some time with Bert Newton and Patty; many afternoon delights. Think Mission Impossible. Although I believe he's had trouble with the exploding gum, hence his penchant for wigs.
  23. I know..I wasn't expecting a Suzuki either!
  24. Good to see you're in stealth mode with the 'weeks growth' Bitters - you'll definitely blend in! ...the latest from CCTV captured from Beijing..: {Picture captured courtesy of and thanks to surveillance work via Cafe Beijing via Redlegs Cruise - Crystal Serenity docked in San Fran via Redleg} ps. Good work Redleg.
