Did they pull you aside for HIA no thanks to Teddy?
  2. Can always rely on bananas to provide good sustenance. The boys would have got good quality QLD bananas too. 🍌
  3. I wouldn’t be surprised either.

I used these summaries too, they were so handy so you could set yourself for a medal event where the Aussies were a good chance. It was a great idea and initiative by Sam - many followed it. Horrible news. Live every day to its fullest. So true, you never know if or when your number is up.
  5. I posted in the trade thread recently, but it seems more appropriate in Kalani’s thread. I saw him in the Vic M v QLD at Avalon airport Oval. Where he played pretty much full back on Vic M’s key forward and was on/off the bench. Kalani moves just like his old man, has a massive leap, he made a number of spoils defensively. A good experience for him being bottom age. His opponent did lose him a few times, but with minimal damage. I would have liked to see him up forward for QLD. I think he can play both ends and with growth he’s an obvious mobile ruck option (Jackson mould) too. I know there’s no comparison but he reminded me a little of Darcy Moore down back. As for the academy players - there were plenty in both the QLD and NSW/ACT teams - the four northern clubs are in good hands which is why the Vic clubs may seem a little ‘up in arms’.
  6. If I were Jack and Max, I’d be doing the same thing at their age. Creating a little extra room. The Cats and Hawks did it. Why not.
  7. Ballarat and MARS stadium are getting a very important footy match next week with huge ramifications for many teams. And for the AFL they have hit the nail on the head in terms of suspense with a SUPER SUNDAY. •Dogs v Giants •Carl v StK •Frem v Port
  8. With an ounce or two with luck, this will take him past 300 games. Obviously wanting another year added in 2028.
  9. 100%. The man is a legend and arguably the greatest ruckman in the game ever. That’s right, EVER. He will don his 7th AA jacket this year. Just wish CP5 - Mr Petracca would like several of the recent mfc (GC game) and Gawny’s post - he’s obviously keeping a wide berth on the socials lately for unknown reasons. Unlike him really for someone who has been continually active on his insta.
  10. Viney Langdon Turner Salem Rivers Howes
  11. Turner 4 goals, Van Rooyen and Petty both 3 goals each. Not a bad return from our key forwards!
  12. Judd McVee - first AFL goal. Well done Juddster!
  13. It’s a BIG up yours to North by Jack Viney! And a BIG pull up your socks, show some fight rather than bicker, leak and whinge to all in sundry within the MFC.
  14. He lost me at....liquor licence.
  15. Very surprised it's just the one change. Bowey for Oliver. If true, there must be no niggles what-so-ever. No one with the exception of Oliver to be heading into surgery post season for any correction procedures. A clean bill of health for this Sundays starting 23 I take it! No Brown, No Jefferson, No Fullarton, No Sestan, No Kentfield - no games for any of these players in a dead rubber game that could provide the player valuable experience before a full on pre-season where they could be motivated to get back to seniors in 2025 having had a taste. Hmmm. I'm not into "gifting" players games either, but I'd prefer the option to play one or 2 with 2 dead rubber games remaining.
  16. T. Morris uses “long story short” a lot.
  17. He doesn't have a leaker at those clubs.
  18. Height off the half-back is a BIG issue (Daniel) and he's kicking is far from sublime. Houston would be the ideal target if it hasn't already been ruined by the negative press.
  19. Why do you think Lukosius is on the outer at GC? Why do you think Dimma is so frustrated in him? We already have Fritsch.
  20. Gee, you read like something Tom Morris would write. Many players play with niggles including sore ribs, a bung hand/finger and PCL's. Including blue chip footballers.
  21. This we agree on. It's incumbent upon the coaches to have a team playing to our strengths. To play competitive watchable games that we more often than not, win. To produce healthy crowds to prevent any "moving" of games to Marvel. Because I'm telling you, you will not get a healthy crowd to a Melb v interstate team (Free, GWS, Port, WC, GC, Adel) in at Marvel and it will be a disaster.
  22. Ken Hinkley on a call to Corndog: - "Thanks Kane. Good idea. Keep up the the good work mate. Power!"
  23. I love the club and I love the MCG. Our club plays at the MCG. It is our home ground. The MCC are a big part of that. I want to see them play at the G. If you had these games at Marvel - you'd be lucky to get 13,000. And a massive financial loss.
  24. Max was our best player against the Dogs and equally best in a stellar game against Port along side Kozzie and I noted his kicking power was back against Power. He is a proud man and wants to finish strong and lead. Let him do that. And let him fit into a 7th AA blazer FFS.
