Couldn't care less re: lack of media/social media training. That will come in due course. Couldn't care less about the views on his weight. He's already addressed the need to strip fitter in prep for combine which led to outstanding results and a noticeably fitter Clay. See ball get ball and what he has shown to do (dispose effectively, mark and kick goals) is what matters. The extra professionalism in club land will keep improving Clay. I'm as bullish about him, as he is a raging bull.

It was great to see footage of the combine last night prior to the Draft. It showed Clay testing for goal kicking, whilst he did get a perfect score, a couple went through Kernahan-style and like I've mentioned elsewhere, he reminds me a little of Dane Swan with his kicking and Voss with his quick evasive skills & disposal (HB) as seen in the extended highlights version.

I see a bit of Swan and a bit of Voss in him in that extended highlights package. Liked him from his initial package that olisik posted. Most noticeable is his body transformation in the last month or two, really impressive at Combine. The 3 weeks where he worked extremely hard in lead up to Combine shows a commitment to improve himself. He'll thrive within the Dees new environment. Looking very much forward to his progress.

What is also amazing is that in his clip for AFL draft picks, he mentions he has just 1 vote in the Morrish Medal at Round 9.

Don't get upset, but he loved Matthew Richardson growing up. Massive Richo fan. Rest easy though....there's only one Richo.

I know that some here think highly of beep tests... But gee! I would want to know the base he has come off from injury, it is the off season, he's a 196cm KPF too. You'd also want to consider his scans, medicals.

Just on limited viewing this kids a real competitor, and he has a little class. Reportedly did well at Combine too, impressive. Goal kicking mid (20 goals). He missed Vic Country due to OP early. How does he compare to that of Parish who represented at Vic Country?

You can bank it, the media will be using this ^ as a headline at some stage. Ie. "Dees take Weid, Parish the thought."

Disagree would be a terrible pick.

I find it interesting that Curnow didn't test well with ball use according to Snoop Dog. Needs work IMO on his left by hand/foot; particularly hand. Gives great insight. Good read.

The No T$ No B$ Thread
Geez, I thought I entered the wrong thread dc Until this post.... thanks for the laugh dc. I've read the last few pages, and would just like to thank everyone for their contributions. Because it's made me none the wiser. I prefer the Master's countdown tbh.... Although I will contribute with this. Taking into account the very unfortunate news in France, it angers, saddens me and I dearly wouldn't want this to happen here in the world's most liveable city. But when I really think about it, you've heard the saying, "it only takes one peanut..." ... I just find it inevitable that one day this will happen in the town, country that I love. One day. I don't want it to, but knowing what happened in Sydney, now this.....there's a very real possibility it will. 'Touch wood', it doesn't. However I fear for my children - and down the track my grand children - for the world they will one day live in. Theatres, restaurants and sporting facilities. Three targets that our very own town has in spades and dearly loves. All it takes is one twisted coward. It really saddens me for those that were lost. And reading the last few pages of differing opinions and bitter views towards one another whether it be religions, beliefs.......I mean, why can't we all just get along? Not just in here, but as a world? There's so much negativity in this world, social media, politics, etc Everyone needs a shot of positivity. You only live once, let's get along FFS.

I think this negative hair talk should cease. We should embrace the locks if picked. Who knows.... we may even land a new $500,000 - $1million sponsor in Decore or Sunsilk.....positive thoughts people. Become a destination club and entice the likes of Sloane, Mundy, Maric. Embrace the locks people. #embracethelocks shall trend!

Yeats. The Reverend did our club proud. Several times. Not just his coaching, but coaching a club in difficult times, a club under re-sourced, lacking AFL standard facilities at the Junction. Also his promotion of our club and helping increase membership. He knew putting us in a better position financially allowed the club to compete, despite a ball and chain around it's neck holding us back financially. ie. getting rookies such as Aaron Davey onto our list.

Thanks for these highlights. Excellent disposal both sides of his body. Agree with Snoop Dog's surprise that he hadn't tested better at Combine. As he said you wouldn't have thought that would be the case given these highlights.
