According to Croke Park officials, the very modest Cribbin is allegedly good kicking goals on his back...
  2. That handball by Miller certainly wasn't a good audition for the handball comp on the Sunday Footy Show. Besides he probably should have had the confidence to kick the goal himself. Clearly lacks the confidence to do so. Hence his dud handball. With regard to your last couple of sentences (underlined), I thought Miller was doing ok in Robbo's absence this season, despite his occassional erratic/wayward kicking for goal.
  3. Or associated with one of the employees. My guess too. If that is the case then it is a breach of trust. I also agree it has the potential to hurt the club.
  4. 12,380.

    Trav

I think you've hit it on the head there rodent. Trav didn't need a change of team/scenery. Trav didn't need a new coach. Or two. What Trav needs is a 'new attitude' to see his football improve & consistency.

I can't help that either. Indirectly it sort of is TJ v Grimes. I'm sure Dappa that we'll get another 10+ years out of it too. Good timing really the whole trade. Agree. Just out of interest and I know it proves nothing yet. Cameron Wood had a good half-a-game of football against West Coast last week on Dean Cox. I don't have the exact stats yet, but I heard last night he had something like over 20 Hit Outs against Cox. In 50% game time football, that's pretty good. Just thought I'd throw that in to the mix. edit: - *AFL Stats: Apologies, Incorrect - It was '23 disposals' not 'hit outs'. Still, a good return all the same. Cameron Wood: - v West Coast 23 disps (17 kicks 6 hballs), 9 marks and 9 hitouts in Rd 9 22-pt win over West Coast at Subiaco (23 May 2009)
  7. Just out of interest, how many teams in the league?
  8. Heard Nick Riewoldt on TFS, all their players and staff are to wear face masks whilst travelling by air to prevent them all from catching "Swine Flu". Does anyone know if Melbournefc are following suit? Or if we have the resources available for such needs?...
  9. Damn straight. Thanks for the link Rocknroll. Definitely worth watching. Love it when asked about Sam Blease's mishap at school. CC answered in no uncertain terms "Sh!t Happens!" Can't get more honest than that.
  10. Yes good take on it grazman as previously posted Bailey said it was only part of the reason and form was also a part of it. Excellent post.
  11. Try this: - I am not sure if these will work, can only really find out about half an hour before the game, but I will post them now because unfortunatley I will not have internet access this weekend. http://www.justin.tv/directory/sports This often has footy streamed live, but there is no gaurantee that the Dees game will be on, just have to look and hope for a bit of luck. http://www.atdhe.net/ This is the link that I posted last week, again you have to search for the game from this page and again you need to say a little prayer that it will be there. www.ustream.tv/channel.footy-net This is a really good link, but you may need a password to access it, however you can request to view the channel. - From Shifu Demon; O'logy
  12. There is one bloke who will not be looking forward to it........Michael Malthouse. Reason: Blockbuster fatigue.
  13. Yes, the Dees v WCE game is firming for the Messiah. Wouldn't rule out Q B'day just yet, but that will depend on how he performs this weekend. Last night on Fox Sports, Robbo did mention that the Queens Birthday for Watts as a possible debut. What a debut that would be. If The Pies beat Port with good form, and Jack makes debut Monday week, expect 80,000 plus.
  14. Thought I would start this here as there is more traffic....... Whispering Jack - Happy Birthday mate...enjoy the Gold Coast! Surely that's some sort of an omen!! Go Dees! PS. They say 60 is the new 40!! Note: Mods - feel free to put this in an appropriate spot......but here its more suitable for now
  15. Just stating the "Facts" champ! Hey I know, 'maybe' you should take note.. Go Dees!
  16. Certainly comes accross that Richo wants to give him a serve, on behalf of the playing group too. Good on him too. That's if he can find Hutchy at GTV9 backstage......
  17. There was more than one mistake Brockstar5, he was also out of form - which was quoted by Bailey on TFS, but part of it was that major, major blunder - it's been well documented so I won't have to go on about it, and his kicking for goal. Common sense really re: team rules. I agree with Miller (esp. his kicking for goal).
  18. Was it the mark or the fact he played on lairising/brain fade/selfish & stupid act? I thought the quote was in reference to the latter 45h, after Hutchy asked him the question as to why Robbo was dropped. So now it's fact. Really, it's been plain on the nose of ya face since he was dragged. Everyone knows it, some just can't come to terms with admitting it. Even the ones whom bandy their supposed IQ's around. At the end of the day, just remember we all follow the same team. With a team comes rules. If they don't follow team rules, they must be pulled into line. Regardless if they kick 2.3.
  19. Watching Johnstone against the Saints and his lack of determination for the ball when in dispute, Voss would have no doubt been fuming with the game up for grabs.
  20. Fair enough. Although the selfish act, as well as ignoring Sylvia in the clear were the last straw.
  21. Maybe our Dees are keeping him away from contacts up there. Convenient or Coincidence?
  22. They would nominate that it would be the least of interest simply because they see it as 1st v 16th. Little do they know the Saints will be given a fair dinkum contest. Saints by 4 points.
  23. Deegirl correct mail. WD. edit: Daniel Bell Half Forward.....will be interesting. N.Jones on the bench again, is that a record?
  24. Sandra Sully with the late news...
  25. Perhaps his involvement at Casey level, will enable some synergy to take place between Watts, Newton and Robbo too. It will let them spend some time together in the meantime. A better understanding is always a positive and perhaps it will benefit them on their return to senior level in the second half of the season.
