I have also had Grimes in my Super Coach team. 95% efficiency against Saints. What a pick up from the draft. We need a win to help get him a nomination for the Rising Star in my opinion. Next year we will do well with nominations. For Jack to have a game like that against a quality side in StKilda speaks volumes. Just oozes leadership. Geez its exciting to see these types of quality players strutting their stuff for the Dees.

They were going hell for leather, as were we. They didn't really try and slow down or play tempo when in front the last 10 minutes. Which really, I admire them for that. Dean Cox dropped a sitter which I questioned. Anyway, I'm not complaining. I think a few things stood out, which the commentators also questioned during the call.

I think you're right. Does it relate to the fact we finished with one less win last year than West Coast? When I think back to the game at Subiaco against West Coast, that last quarter......does anyone question anything....or is it just me? Fwiw, I think our side was trying to win......not so sure about West Coast. Maybe it's just me....

So where do you draw the line? I think there is a difference. NQR can be described as someone who lacks footy nous or lacks pace, or whatever - almost a polite way of putting it. A "dud" I believe is more derogatory..ie Intentionally offensive.

Sides have been getting the jump on us, might need to be a bit more switched on, or have more intent on being first to the ball. That's right. It's hard to believe we are playing them twice within the first 11 rounds of the season. If the team gives 110% and sticks to their tasks, minimises the turnovers and is competitive throughout, I'll be happy no matter the result. I just want good contested, exciting footy from our players for the full game. I also want to see an attacking brand, taking the game on, taking risks and plenty of goals.
