do you reckon they would be interested in two premiership players from melbourne, bub?

as long as it is 2-way star movement i'll get used to it it's the 1-way movement that concerns me -
there was also that incident when morris out of position dived on a ball and took out the legs of a swan. he then cleared the ball. not one commentator said anything when the umpire let it go. it was a very clear breach of that rule and not the only one in that game, but the fact the commentators weren't interested amused me.

the afl said, so they could catch the last virgin flight out of sydney to get back to melbourne asap to prepare for gf i was surprised there were no later flights, but that was their story (and it might have been 5:30 iirc)

how do you equalise the lost opportunity of prime time scheduling on things like sponsors and members
-
yep, sorry clint, not sure how that happened

you could also add to that, macca, just how long the umps allow play to continue after a tackle. sometimes (rarely) they blow the whistle fairly promptly, other times they let it go on for an eternity. the umps used to bounce the ball fairly promptly in order to clear congestion.
-
you could say that about half (at least) of the doggies team

maybe slobbo's salutation of #goodluck did the trick, red?

nothing is ever finished, maurie..... ....and certainly not where money is concerned

on the plus side though, booby, there used to be a lot of players exploiting this by flinging themselves forward and buckling their knees. you don't see that too often now, though i did notice keirin jack try an obvious one which the umpire wisely ignored. seems now the only push in the back tackles paid are those blatant ones. The 50/50 ones seem to be let go. I'd be more worried about the throwing the ball interpretation but i don't think the afl are.

so, now the gf is over, did he sign? -
giving them all a bye before finals start doesn't give them all an equal chance by any stretch dogs at 7 had to play 4 teams in a row all above them on the ladder and on their home grounds. that's hardly an equal chance nothing wrong with the bye. affects all teams equally and helps all teams get as many players as possible at the fittest which is only a good thing

because....it's gil's way of saying sorry, we'll make it up to you

i suppose if essendrugs gets a first round priority pick this year then why not the bears?
-
i wonder when was the last grand final played where both teams played in all 4 weeks of the finals
