Rivers getting into the game...just not the same skills levels as those around him, shows up in this type of game.

I miss Jackson more than I miss trac and clarry now.... that is the one that got away.

The design of the show for the crowd would have to be the worst ever done, anywhere. If you look what people at the ground could see in other social media posts, it was [censored], they couldn't see anything as it was made for TV and the big screen. As for the song etc, not my style, maybe with subtitles I could have followed it better. But thats his thing, singlng Spanish only and wanted they wanted. (some lyrics would have causes a scandal if sung in English apparently) but lots of trees etc blocking what was happening was poor idea. As for the alternate half time show, what a bunch of tossers.

The big question I have is how we are going to refresh our Mid after going with essentially the same combinations since 2020. Looking forward to finding the next batch of elite mids for us :)

Nice, but I no longer accept that as a good season, just a great game.

As much as we love Clarry he had issues. And from the outside those issues were affecting other players including Trac as reported. A great player, but at the same time hasn't been that great lately for us at least. King has a vision, playing Clarry in only the mid was not part of it, we needed change in that area. It appears Clarry didn't like that idea and asked to be traded and we helped him move on. Will we be a better "Team" from this, I hope so. While he get back to his best at GWS, who knows. Is it done, yes....

Quick update...

Needs To improve his skills and endurance. Saying that I like him as someone given a chance and puts in 100%. With 5 on the bench there is more opportunity for him, with Roo hopefully being 100% fed this year, I hope.

Got expectations for him this season. A potentially exciting player to settle into or backline.

All I think of when look at that jumper is a bad Christmas jumper.

I agree North success was based upon a very aggressive recruitment when they first joined. I remember people we amazed of the initial team and how they pulled it off. With their personal a competnent coach would have been success with the group no matter what particuarly in the womens comp as the quality from top to bottom is massive. A bit like the super comindant teams or the VFL...get good cattle and you job is almost done as a coach. I dare say someone liek Daisy who took a basketcase team and straight away imrpvoed it. And that has alot more to do with belief and cutlure (really important to when, more so than the men in how they operate) that pure foot knowledge.

Easily Max stays. I think it's also more important given the other changes at the club, we need Max to be that stable voice in a lot of change.

a better comparison would be age v performance. Pies/cats have shown their "age: players perform to the required standard or above. Eventually that ends, then the younger players take their place.

Pity about Zanker and fav player for us. I guess if give an opportunity for another and we seem to have an abundance of talls (not as experienced) coming through.

I agree, a game plan can be learnt in one preseason, they are full-time professional footballers. Give them home work :)
