Funny, at the time I thought the GC approach of having the majority of the team together the year before playing in the Queensland league would have create a better team cohesion etc. But it didn't. Maybe because they we with Ablett who was more about himself than building a team around him. Him being so dominant even on game day meant the team didn't develop. Where as the GWS went with more team focused experienced players, built a team faster. Form media report they are looking at the Tassie team being competitive from the start like the entry of Eagles/Crows into the league. Essentially aiming for a state team to se the foundation and culture.

Are they for additional revenue with current membership packages, it should they be cheaper and then leverage as a marketing list. By making them cheaper for the majority like a $10 - $50 basic membership , the club gets access to a bigger market to sell to sponsors. Which is worth more than the $ we get from the existing packages.
