Why post it here. Peter was massive fan of our Robbie and he was a frequent feature on his show. Which as a young demon was massive tick for me. Plus he seemed a great person as well. Lost in the first by a team with no application or desire to win the ball. Improved after that just on effort and some good passages of play just to tease us.... Injuries didn't help but it was lost in the ist. What truely confuses me is the lack of effort for our leaders to try and drag to team out of the [censored] funk they were in that we saw in the 2nd. Surely 5 minutes in, they should have been stepping up to change the way we were playing. Do they have to wait until qtr time for Goodwin to tell them to play footy. Again this is on the coaching team, they are not delivering. Season was pretty much dead after the saints debacle and then the repeat at port.

The issue comes back to the direction and development by the coaching staff. The wins and focussed efforts against the pies games and other big games paper work our approach in "easier" games. The focus should now be to hit 2026 running. The question is how much of the coaching staff do we need to change to get success not he field. If Godwin is given his last year (another review), do we start recruiting now for the best assistants to replace what is not working around him. That includes those above him in the footy department. In the short term, how do we revitalise the current team structure and players. How can we give other players more responsibility to develop their game and improve the overall team results. Plus hire a sports psych or kicking coach to fix the biggest issue in the short term. Plus forward craft with players staying down for the crumb's instead of letting opponents waltz out with no pressure as we're all tangled up in the pack. Just 1 player over the back! Just once...

What can you say, again poor kick for goal. Said it weeks ago and raised it for the podcast. We had a purple patch that papered over the crack. , The coaching staff have not being able to fix the problems with the list in the fwd Line. I expect big changes at the end of the year in coaching team. The Current team are not up to it. As for the umpires, again some shockers that cost us. But in the end if we can't kick regulation goals, what would it change.

Yes, eh said that in the interviewing after the game and he was trapped on where he could kick it on his right and didn't want to chance his left....he went for a chaos ball as they still had time and it went wrong. Game was lost from previous poor decisions by us (Yes umpires gave them enough goals to win too)

We lost when we failed to convert this set shots and some stupid mistakes in front of goal. But how many goals did the pies get from some iffy free kicks and 50's!!
