THE 2024 AFL NATIONAL DRAFT - DAY ONE
True, Just reading the fox sports rankings on the screen. They don't have speed in their criteria :)

The AFL 2025 Fixture
They want them top 4 for $'s. Funny if they really crash and burn next season with that draw.

The AFL 2025 Fixture
Not a bad draw to get us back on contention. Possibly setup for a fast start and assuming no sudden massive improvement on the teams outside the 8 from this year we should de well. Fingers crossed. Get to watch the boys live just once in Perth this year...

Delistings 2024
As a project player in the ruck in the far future it worth a punt.

AFLW: Rd 10 vs Pies
Yes the Freo game should have been a win, Yes, lots a good tall talent has stepped up this year. We;ll be better going forward and with a slight better fixture finishing 9 maybe?

Great game from the girls today. Looks like the blues we let us down

Nathan Jones joins MFC as an Assistant Coach
We need to fix out midfield structure. Jonesy comes with a lot of practical experience. No issue as its an assistant role, that show you start and then develop his coaching skills. As with others, I want him to challenge Goody with new ideas to continue to develop the team and how we play. Interesting to see what changes come round 1.

Jack Davey
Totally [censored] and a parents worst nightmare. My youngest son is just a little older and if that happened to him.... Hopefully th family is getting the support they need. It would be great for the club to do something to acknowledge a young supporter taken way too early.

Gary Pert Quits as MFC CEO
I was thinking of him. But why would he want to leave the AFL, what is his current role there.
-
Gary Pert Quits as MFC CEO
I think him for being part of the team that achieved a flag in my lifetime :). I guess looking back he is great in the short term but hasn't developed the skills/knowledge for building a long term sustained culture given his exit from the pies and us. Is the consultant a parachute decision to ease the exit for him? Surely we find a CEO like Jackson who knew to stay out of the FD and let those professionals run it and concentrate on the business side and supporting the staff.

2024 Player Reviews: #16 Bailey Laurie
Was better in the last couple of games. But for a player with a great kick he handballs too much. That I see a symptom of a player with low confidence at AFL level, he seems unsure of himself and rushes his decision making many times. He needs to slow down, find some space and deliver on his skills. The question can he get a sequence of games to build that confidence at AFL level. He's got a couple of years to show us.

The Bo Allan Thread
What does the name sound so familiar. Ah, It made me think of: Bo Callihan from the movie draft day. Who went to his birthday party!

2024 Player Reviews: #45 Andy Moniz-Wakefield
Looking forward him taking the step next season. Another preseason under his belt and the confidence he got from his games this year.

AFLW: Rd 9 vs FNQ Hawks
Had our chances with 2 good players being a late out. Even if we win next week and they lose this week I don't think we can catch the bombers.
-
AFLW: Rd 9 vs FNQ Hawks
Thy had that chance in that patch and only kicks the 2 behinds, unlikely from here. really missed Home and her class int he slippery conditions.

AFLW: Rd 9 vs FNQ Hawks
