Agree that the Recital Centre is an awesome venue. Saw War and Treaty there and the sound was amazing. Back on topic, Hunter with a fresh start and a clean slate with the desire to earn respect from his new team mates has a heap of upside for us. His best is very good and him getting anywhere near that would be a huge win for us. Looking forward to seeing him on the G in Dee's colours.

I lean towards SWYL's thinking on this bloke. At least I won't have to worry about him living up to my expectations as I have none. Would rather have kept the Weed. At least he knows the game plan

Have always liked the Weed and would like to wish him well but it's tough when he's going to the goat rooters. If it's possible to be successful in a completely unsuccessful club, then I wish him that.

It's not something we had to worry about for a good number of years but part of having a decent team is losing players who seek better opportunities. Tigers lost the likes of Dan Butler, Brandon Ellis (premiership players), Jack Higgins & Mab Chol. All sought the chance to play more senior footy. The longer we sustain any level of success, the more of these types we'll lose.

Depends on the job they're assigned. If it's a wide receiver & distributor, Bowey. But if you have to quell the influence of a dangerous half-forward, Hunt. So for example if we front the Tigers you'd assume Hibbo goes to Dusty, Who do you want on Bolton ? Bowey ? I doubt it. Who's next option ? And don't give me Joel Smith - he'd be too busy handballing to Tom Lynch in the goalsquare. Bowey got dropped for a couple of reasons - and didn't force his way back

I'm always happy to give ticket agencies a whack - I've found it's generally a stressful experience no matter the event or venue size. In this case however it was pretty smooth sailing after 15 minutes "in the queue". Requested Best Available, had a look at what it gave me and thought yep, that will do. I figure the simpler I make the process at my end, the more likely I'll get a positive outcome. So I didn't shop around for seats in my "preferred" area. Was close enough anyway. Some changes I'd like to see 1) Sell the games on different days. That's a no-brainer. Reduce the traffic & server load by 50% and you reduce the risk of cokcups. 2) Premium members get their own window. Not necessarily the "best" seats but for the quids they pay out to the club they should be given a decent crack at getting tickets before we "plebs" have a go (sorry @Jaded No More, couldn't resist) 3) Reduce the 10 ticket to one membership allocation significantly. I got four tickets using my daughters MFC membership. Three for members, one for my daughter's non MFC supporting partner who has developed a strong affection for the Dees. But I could easily have used that same barcode to get 6 more tickets for some of my non Melbourne bogan mates. Then used my own barcode for 10 other non Melbourne bogan mates. Rinse & repeat with my other daughters barcode. I shouldn't be allowed to do that. Nor should anyone else have that capacity
