  1. Cerra is probably the better player ATM, but he will be no chance of being traded, whereas Brayshaw might be a chance if Dockers want to keep a high pick.
  2. If Hawks get Shiel, they will have added 3 top mids, including a Brownlow Medallist, in 2 years of trading, without the draft. It is a strong argument for trading for dislclosed talent, rather than drafting prospective future talent.
  3. What, now we are into horses?
  4. Don't know about Bradshaw, but Andrew Brayshaw would be a chance to be in the Hogan deal.

Someone has made a big Gaff here starting this crap. I am torn between staying at DL or moving to BigFooty, who have promised me a huge stipend.

That will throw the cat among the pigeons. The Tim Kelly deal for one.
  7. Well that would be the next 3 years and that would be in line with most good players.
  8. Carlton will improve. Cripps. Docherty. Dow. Curnow C & E. McGovern. Weitering. Marchbank. Settering. Petrevski-Seton. Shiel maybe and others.

Next you will tell me about the joke, what is a ship load of lawyers sunk on the bottom of the ocean? Answer " a good start".
  10. The jugglers follow the clowns into the ring.
  11. Sorry misread it, no cake.
  12. 5 and 9 for Polec. Wow! That probably takes the cake. You are the winner.

    And also the May deal?
  14. You think the Pies will just walk away next year with Dunn and Goldsack probably retired?

It was needed then. Today it probably wouldn’t have happened.

If Gaff is staying how do they get Tim Kelly or fit him into their cap. Could Dockers make a play for him? How would that affect other deals? Might make letting Neale go easier? Interesting 10 days ahead.

Have we got anyone yet? No, well we are f....d.
  18. That is why I am not worried and have faith in the FD to get it done.
  19. Starting to get the feeling that if Lobbe needs to get to the Dockers too, we may be looking at a pick and player for JH, with the pick to go to GC maybe for May and KK and maybe a lesser one coming back. That would mean we get 3 players for JH. That could be a possibility.

You mean a $1m a year player who doesn’t chase and will cost you 2 first round picks as stated by Port . Don’t think we lack that.
  21. A poster Theo, on Tohill thread said you can have 3. If so, I hope we are into Tohill, or one of the others, if of course they are good enough or showing potential.
  22. Got the answer Walker and Bradtke.
  23. Are we out of the running for one of the Irish boys as a category B rookie? I know we have Bradtke as one. Do we have another one? Sad when we started this and one of the boys is the talented 198 cm Anton Tohill, son of Anthony, who played Reserves for us in the 80's.
  24. Yep. I think they are all "keeps" for Swans. They do have a couple of blokes in the seconds who we may be looking at, or otherwise it will be a pick that we will hope to bundle and upgrade I think.
  25. None of those 5 will be pushed out.
