  1. Not at all. If May stays fit next year, no question mark at all.
  2. Agree. Suppose we should have guessed he would be injured all year.

With Lewis gone, we have how many players over 30? Oh that's right, only one. He of course won 3 B & F's in a row and stayed loyal while we were sh-t. He is not in our worst 8 players and therefore on a number of grounds deserves another year. Would hurt the club massively through the AFL if we dumped him this year.Would speak volumes of our culture. Hardly soft I would have thought. PS. Don't bring up Hodge, Lewis and Roughhead, as the Hawks have half their list over 30.

Might not be, but he deserves another year and will get it. Where he plays will be up to his form. We have plenty to move on, while keeping him and he will likely retire next year. Can't get rid of 15 players, even though we on DL might want to.
  5. I guess we should have used the old hindsight and traded him.

Yes, silly me, next week is a bye.

Salem always has hit his targets, up until the last quarter of this season.

Disgusting soft free to Reiwoldt. Like the non existent arm chop to Larkey yesterday. Pathetic.
  9. 4-6 and 2 year contract left. Wonderful.
  10. AVB. ?

Just waiting for us to blow this game too.

Funny then, that a sh-t club like ours, as the media and footy world see us, with a crap coach, selfish players, who are poorly skilled, should have beaten the Eagles twice this year, but for massive injuries, poor umpiring and shocking kicking for goal. No credit given to us for those and many other close losses this year. It's time to adopt the John Northey mantra of "it's us against the rest of them" and come out fighting next year. We need a hard edge on the ground from our team and in the public forum from our FD. Get fit, learn how to tackle, work on our skills, make the game plan simpler, bring in some new talent and pace, get rid of those that aren't good enough and reward those that play hard team footy. Do that and we are back as a competitor and a relevant team.

We probably need to make about 8-10 changes, so besides the obvious few, some more players will be moved on. Maynard and Lewis are gone, Keilty, JKH and Garlett are likely too. Tim Smith and Josh Wagner could also be added and Walker the rookie is probably gone. That is 8 and maybe another 1-2 could and should be traded, like ANB who IMO has no future with us. His mate Billy might get another year, with Josh's brother Corey.
  14. Not sure how you did that because that wasn’t my post, I posted an answer, but no biggy.

No our next game. Aren't we playing next week?

I am looking forward to next week's game.

Like to see that, after the AFL give the pick to GC.
  18. He killed the Coleman medallist. Has really improved to be a valuable player for us, who actually plays each week and usually beats his opponent. Can't wait for more "get rid of Frost posts".
  19. Sure, can i do it? A wasted season.
  20. Why am I not surprised?
  21. He is no Luke Hodge I will give you that, but not many are. Lets look at our potential Captains then, Lever, turns it over continually, Max probably the only real alternative, but would only increase the huge load he already has, carrying 21 other players,Tom Mac, possibly a vice captain, but hard to be leader at FF or when you are in the stands, next possible, I have no idea.
  22. Smashed their best on baller. Go back and watch it again. Played like a Captain. Led from the front.

Can guarantee this won't be an in for us, consistent, fair, reasonably accurate umpiring.
  24. We did right to avoid that.
  25. None.
