What is also strange or funny, is the different descriptions given to injuries likely duration. With only 5 games to go, some are stated as season, others indefinite and others TBC, when in reality they are all out for the rest of the season. If Sparrow for example is out for 2-3 and Casey have 4 games left we can be sure he won’t be brought back for the last game. Walker is indefinite so why not say season. Not sure why they categorise players injuries in this way.
  2. You only have to ask.

    Which one is which?

    Just a slip slide away.
  5. That is on for us.
  6. I am not sure that is a priority any more. Admin and training facilities, including whiz bang gym, pool, medical and recovery facilities in the same building or area is the aim.

Just can’t keep the “banana “ out of the news.
  8. Hello Rowell or Anderson.

Anything happened today, seems pretty quiet.
  10. Interesting that this and new fitness manager appointment hitting the news, at the same time as it is being suggested that we are leading the race for a player.
  11. I wonder if this was the real target all along and the impossible dream was put up, knowing it was doomed to failure, but thereby giving us more support from those that matter, for what we really wanted and which was far more acceptable and achievable.
  12. Or actually encourage a couple to choose us.

Gee, losing games, playing up North, injuries, Coaches, trades, drafts and now letters. How can I cope?
  14. I would have a look at Darcy Fogarty from Crows.

Our kicking for goal is giving me nightmares.
  16. Maybe and I am getting excited about Jordon, who is continuing to develop very well. Also Sparrow to come back and Nietsche ( sorry about spelling,) who was spoken about by players in pre season as being very talented. IMO unless we are targeting a champion, we should try and find a FA or two and use our draft picks for top end talent. Can’t recall any FA’s we have picked up.I think you have more chance with a disgruntled player possibly not getting a run, than one merely going for money.
  17. Except it was the other male umpire Deboy, number 11 I think. Turned to Lever and said” you know what you said”. Very quick to pay the 50. I think they got 5 goals from frees, most of which the commentators referred to as dubious or just plain wrong. Dont let anyone tell you that umpires have no influence on games.
  18. Plus the bloke who could win our B and F, if the big beard doesn’t.
  19. Not a great game by the big fella but he cost us a player who can’t make the North side either.
  20. Kick our 6-7 easy gimmes and we win easily, despite injuries, umpiring and losing Viney.
  21. As an ANB knocker I thought he was better today, but still wouldn’t have him in my team. Those mistakes still kill our momentum.
  22. Oliver by a Street.
  23. I had him retired, but.......
  24. As several of us, you included I think, have suggested all year. The guy is a forward.
  25. Jaded we usually agree on our team, but we are letting our players off by blaming the Coach for everything. We have outplayed the Eagles who need to win for top four, with no forward line and horrendous umpiring. If we had kicked what we should we would be 5-6 goals up. Does the Coach get credit for that? I blame the players for missing gimme goals today, like they have all year. Goodwin has made mistakes but teams can’t win when they butcher the ball and we are according to stats the worst at it in history. My god I am a fan of Petty but seriously 2 misses from 15 out straight in front. Lewis just missed from 5 metres out for his 3rd miss and was lucky to get another kick. The most important thing we need above all else is the ability to kick straight both at goal and passing. I have to go now and buy another TV, because I have kicked this one to pieces. PS. Senior players can work out the breeze after one shot. They are dumb.
