There are just morons and dickhe-ds out there and it is impossible to get them all to act like human beings. Now some more morons want to march in Melbourne because they think the Virus is a scam. I wonder I how the relatives of the people who have died or are very sick from the virus feel. On top of it all they will risk infecting more people if they march. I would get the water hoses out and then throw them in jail wet.

If true that is very concerning and possibly explains a lot of things.

Interesting point, as several teams have their Coach, or an Assistant on the bench, able to talk to players immediately they rotate to the bench. I haven’t noticed Goodwin or any Assistant at the bench for us, but I stand to be corrected if I am wrong.
-
Possibly!
-
Not a stupid idea, as it probably only would be used for assisting veterans get to a milestone, or giving guys on the fringe a last chance at impressing the FD.

Luke Dahlhaus just got a week for the identical tackle that ANB got 4 weeks for, with one exception, the victim wasn’t concussed. That is pathetic, in that penalty is now decided not by intent, or legality of action, but on any injury that occurs. Punch a bloke in the face, which is an illegal act, but if victim not injured, result is a fine or 1 week. This is ridiculous. AFL now more concerned with staging.

Yes he has talent.

Yes we kicked well for goal against an injury ravaged team coming off a short break, who just couldn't apply any pressure. How did you like our ball use against Port or the Dogs? When the pressure is on, our disposal becomes bog ordinary. You have picked kicking for goal as the marker for ball use, in the one game where we hardly missed, because of a total absence of pressure from the opposition. Our field kicking and handball is generally poor and nearly every Dees fan I believe, would acknowledge that. Our best player went at 31% disposal efficiency against the Dogs. Sums it up I would think.

We let him go because he became a big problem. Freo have discovered that he is still a problem. Don't we have enough problems?
-
To be honest, I couldn't care less who plays, as long as they give 100% effort, all game and we take our chances and use the ball reasonably well. I didn't ask for perfect ball use, as we are incapable of even very good use.

“If the players don’t bring it.”
-
That's a given.

This is so sad and unfair. We live in a world that can be wonderful and rotten, to the people who inhabit it. I just have no more words at the moment.

Not to one bloke.

You don’t have to have an agenda to see that Goodwin was completely out coached today. However despite that, if we kicked properly, both at goal and in play, we would have won. We gave them most of their goals, 5 out of 6 in the 3rd were turnovers.. Agree May was great. Pity none of our mids were. But still Goody coached poorly as all the commentators noted. I know Jones was a late out but we needed pace and could have brought in Hunt or even Bedford. I would just once like to see Goodwin do something in a game that changes it.

You know what Jaded, the guy has lost me. He actually seems to have no idea of tactics and that you play differently depending on your opponents. To allow Preuss to just tap the ball down, when they are killing us at the clearance, is the height of stupidity. He was against a flanker a lot of the time and they won the clearances and then spread. Put Oliver or Petracca at CHF and smash it to them and you create a contest without Libba, MacRae, Bont, Hunter, Smith etc and you are closer to goal with one of your best players one out. Dogs are the best side at scoring from defence, so you don’t bomb it in. Guess what we did. I never see tactics. Why wasn’t Harmes on Bont.? We are so predictable and have no game tactics at all. I can’t see any real success with this Coach.
-
You wouldn’t if you had a Coach. Beveridge sh-t all over Goody today.
-
Why did he let go of English who then passed for a goal, unbelievable.
-
Signs are bad when disposal and tackling are off. They spread effectively from the clearance and we can’t. Fix those things and we are ok.
-
Probably best Dogs team this year. It will be very tough.

25 actually and turns 26 in February.

The Joseph Gutnick Board and CEO Hassa Mann started the MFC/Bentleigh Club alignment, which today sees us with a $20 million asset. Saving us from a merger and helping our long term financial future. Added to a personal $2.7 million donation, Gutnick , who really knew nothing about footy, has left a lasting contribution to the MFC. Now we are a debt free club. Wow!

That is in the script. Wait and see the next ANB type tackle and if it’s a name player, watch the way it is differentiated and penalised.
-
Because that isn’t in the script.
