  1. Yes he can. It’s his decision not the fans.
  2. No Turner is much taller than Gary. 194 v 187 cms. Gary was a flanker playing key position. A true Dees great. Brilliant footballer.
  3. Agree. Hope he recovers quickly.
  4. Chooks, dogs, magpies, bah!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Same for Ollie Sestan.
  6. What, our players have to travel all the way to Moorabbin?
  7. What, now we are turning the thread into KFC?
  8. When I was Team Manager of the Dees, I was warned about standing in the race at Victoria Park. I avoided a warm shower of urine in a cup, thrown at the players one game there, when we hurried down the race, instead of walking slowly. Nice bunch of people.
  9. With BBB and Tom fit and firing and JVR waiting for a debut and then a resting ruck, Petty won’t be forward.
  10. Except that the next day is also hot, so more likely correct.
  11. Or delay it until Sunday in 23 degrees. Ridiculous to play in 36 degrees with predicted thunderstorms.
  12. Amen to that.
  13. Does anyone think that May might kick out to his right at all this year? Hopefully the long bomb to the left forward pocket, where we have one key forward against three tall defenders, is off the menu. With Tom and Benny fit and firing and with JVR hopefully getting his chance and Max or Brody, we have options.
  14. Daz, a little thought to ponder. Ralphy is saying Liam Henry will definitely be in Victoria next year. He is apparently very close to Kozzie. We lost Toby and overlooked Burgoyne. We have a need for his type of player. What if we have an arrangement with Liam to come to us and of course Kozzie would know if it was in play and it gives him another housemate and another reason to stay. Just spitballing.
  15. Trying to lose some weight for the season ahead.
  16. Will have to look into that.
  17. Well today I broke the months long drought and had a banana smoothie and it was delicious.
  18. Sounds pretty logical. Interval training has been around a long time. We have come a long way from the no water, keep going until you puke, footy training of yesteryear.
  19. No problems from me.
  20. I hear you brother and on the day I had my first banana smoothie in months.
  21. Absolutely. Huge areas where stables were available for development. A low rise grandstand built far in enough from the back of the track, wouldn’t obscure race viewing from the current grandstands.
