Sorry didn’t see your post. But we agree.

NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
Mihocek has a dirty habit of going up for the mark behind an opponent and if outmarked, pulling the guy back, which causes them to fall backwards, often hitting their head on the ground. Just did it to Redmond and did it to Petty, which injured him.

They did and they are kicking in.

POSTGAME : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
What upsets me, is seeing sides like Carlton and Collingwood, kicking inside forward 50, to guys leading and making space and the kicks going right to them. Skill, practice or Coaching, or all three?

Farewell Luke Jackson
Just saying, but he is 199 cms.

Agree.

I saw Petty on him a lot. I thought Tommy was ok. Played on Bruce and killed him.

Farewell Sam Weideman
I am stunned at that. Does that mean that we didn’t try to tackle, or just couldn’t get near enough to them? Treloar got a lot of his possessions inside our forward 50 and then set them up to score.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Well the way to get him, is to get into his head we can bring him home for Jacko. He then has to say he is homesick and wants to leave. Even the media would hammer the Dockers, where they refuse him, but demand Jacko be allowed to come home for the same reason.

POSTGAME : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
I think that is becoming our Achilles heel atm. We are being run over late, in games we were ahead in. The fixture and fitness seem the culprits. I am not convinced we will suddenly be fitter than our rivals. The one thing I was hoping for, is that we stayed top 4 and played our first final at the G, where there would be no longer break advantage, or home ground advantage, to our opponent. That is now looking somewhat unlikely.

POSTGAME : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
We are being run over in multiple games, after leading for most of them. Combination of sh-t draw, injuries and clearly fitness. Burgess was a major loss.

Clearly not according to the Coaches.

GAMEDAY : Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
They have 2 days more break. That is worrying.

Have we ever played them when they don’t get at least double our frees?

Farewell Sam Weideman
Agree, bashing a player does get tedious but it’s a fan forum, so lots of different people and styles/opinions posting. The confusing issue with Sam is a few very good games like the Geelong final a few years ago, show his ability. When that standard or even near it is not replicated, you have to ask why. Is it injury, confidence, use of the ball by team mates up the ground etc. Or, is he not giving his best. How would we know? That is where the frustration comes from. We all want him to succeed, as that would be great for him and the team. Unfortunately, if he keeps not performing, then eventually we look elsewhere and so will he.

Farewell Sam Weideman
He has the chance to restart his career with us. Hope he has a blinder tomorrow night in a winning side.

NON-MFC: Round 19, 2022
Timed the Balta 30 second play in call and it was 1-2 seconds early. Still, he should have been slowly moving forward. Scores level and little time left and 30 out you score that goal or at least a point to get the lead. Really dumb. Don’t blame the kid later, he was trying to get it to a man close in. Tigers should never have not won that.

TEAMS: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
This the 3rd game in a row, where we are coming back from interstate or playing interstate, against a team either playing at home or with a longer break, or both. Great job on the fixed ture AFL.

How is that breaking news, when it has been in the media for a few weeks? Sam McClure is but a shadow of our own news breaker, ET the WA News Wizard.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
Sue, they do have a code of behaviour, but as in any business/profession, you just hope they are behaving honestly and ethically.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
Which is why I would want a regular 22 player for us as part of any deal, plus a high pick and steak knives, like maybe Meek.

Then you will need 800 managers, one for each player. Otherwise there is no way of stopping managers knowing things. Of course they do. They all talk to each other as well, as I said. It is that simple. The Manager doesn't have to tell Gus exactly what Jacko is doing, he just uses the info himself and tells Gus to leave it to him. No Manager is going to go blurting to his clients what others get, unless it is public info. They just get the deals done, all helped by inside info, which is part of their business skills. Say a Manager has 4 players at one club and they all tell him the Coach is hopeless, obviously he would use that info to steer other clients away from that club. That is part of the job and nothing wrong with it.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
I think it is a simple case. Managers do talk to each other as well and have a fair idea what is happening around the clubs and if they didn’t, they wouldn’t be doing their job properly. If he knows Jacko is leaving, he then gets the best price for Gus by the usual means, which includes interest from other clubs. FWIW I think Jacko is clearly gone and Angus will stay for about a 5 year deal.
