If JT doesn’t share those unnamed recruiters’ view, I would think that it’s not even a possibility of happening. We will have a good draft haul of picks and it will take a lot to influence JT to try and turn it into one particular player.

At this stage I would rather keep the picks, HOWEVER, many recruiters, who do this for a living, are saying this is the best kid that they have ever seen in the draft. So, if they are saying this kid is better than Tracc, N. Daicos, Ashcroft, Horne- Francis etc, how do you not take him if you have the chance? Interesting times to come after the season ends.

I think Smith is our ideal sub, can nearly play anywhere.

I would play Tommo back and Petty forward. With JVR, Fritta and an occasional resting ruck, we are covered and have Kozzie, Kade and Taj as the small forwards.

He again played very well and is a victim of a good list. I don’t think he and AMW would embarrass themselves in the senior side, but there just isn’t the spot atm. Howes should get his chance next year.

That’s true. I suppose win over Eagles just has to be less than combined losses to the 3 you named and hopefully lose to Hawks. Then it’s done and with a win by Suns over Roos franking it. None of us would have seen pick 4 coming, on top of Jefferson pick and improved Freo 2nd rounder. TBH Jacko has really played no better than in 2022, other than a couple of very good games.

As long as Suns smash Roos in last round. Dockers will belt Eagles and lift % and then could beat Hawks.

And Dimma would have seen it coming.

Langdon bombing in the last minute, when you need to keep possession, wow. Our disposal is still a real worry and the bombing into F 50 oh dear. But, we won and still in top 4. Viney just a bull. Gus was good and I thought Tommo was very steady. Kozzie best game this year and with Kade kicked valuable goals.

Couple of other things needed too, Clarry, Fritta and Petty have to return and get to top form quickly, forward line sorted out and ruck situation as well. I agree that our BEST is probably enough to win it.
