  1. Don’t think he did. Umpire explained the rule on the goal line, when May asked what happened.
  2. But he was correct.

He can play. We might have 3 F/S over the next 3 years, with Kynan Brown this year, Noah Yze next year and then Kalani White in 2025.

    Absolutely love those photos.
  5. Then maybe we draft his brother, if he is potential AFL standard.
  6. Still want JJ signed.

    Your friend is very inquisitive.
  8. He needs BBB or Tom to play atm, to allow him to isolate against the 2nd or 3rd key defender. That will allow him more chances of possession in a game. We need BBB and Tom to regain form this year, until we can get other options for the big body, key forward role.
  9. I might have misread it as being present not past interest.
  10. No, there is a 5 metre protected area behind the man on the mark and Lever ran into it waving his arms.
  11. You and Deva 5160 are both correct. it is clearly a rule and it’s not paid. I must admit I was just unaware of it until last night, when that diagram was shown on here. According to the rule it was a clear and obvious breach. The funny thing is that Lever and the other players appeared unaware of it, as did the commentators. Richo said he had never seen it paid before and why was it paid, as Lever was behind the man on the mark. The others didn’t know either. Interestingly, when you take a side on kick, the players must be 10 metres away from the side of the man on the mark and they never are. Why isn’t that officiated properly? Last night was as poor and what seemed biased umpiring as you could see. Our players appeared dumbfounded at times and to their credit kept their cool. The mistakes all seemed to go the Tigers way. A Bombers mate messaged me to say the umpires were killing us and it was blatant. The ANB non 50, the Gus deliberate and holding the ball when he kicked it and wasn’t tackled, but was bumped, the 3 round the neck to Sparrow, the Hunter holding the ball, the Petty holding the man on Vlastuin, when they were standing still and Vlastuin just dropped it, the Fritsch reversal, several soft frees in front of goal and many others, all mistakes and all in the Tigers favour. I can only imagine the Scotts and Dimma if it had been them on the receiving end of constant bad decisions. To overcome all that and a poor first 2/3rds of the game, was great by our boys. Well done Dees, those types of games build belief. Everything going wrong, but still finding a way to win.
  12. I didn’t understand when I saw it and Lever clearly doesn’t know the rule, or had a brain fade. But if that’s the rule then he broke it. On the other hand you and Richo are both correct, that it’s never been paid until tonight. We seem to make a habit of creating new decisions by umpires when we play. The non 50 to ANB was mind boggling, as was the standard of umpiring on the whole tonight.
  13. Richo against his old side, several times said we got wrong decisions. That in itself is very unusual. Didn’t hear the commentators once say we got a free we shouldn’t.
  14. Correct.
  15. We are still bombing it into the forward line and hoping. It doesn’t work. Where is the work rate to tackle properly and make position? Our best player has turned it over at least 10 times. They are controlling the ball and running after we turn it over. How many fumbles have we had, which gifts them the ball?

I think I may have reached a state of confusion.
  17. So you are not allowed to say “idi-t” on DL. Wow!
  18. If it’s true, that Howe thinks and said, that Langdon deserved a minor beating up, by 3 Pies players, when we played them last, simply because he made the lighthearted, “all duck” comment, then imo Howe is an idi-t.
  19. Also states we are keen on getting Kozzie’s good mate, Liam Henry as well.

His first movement is backwards and that is why.

Perhaps you need to read the writings of Confucius. He once wrote “that man under car with tool, not necessarily mechanic.” That is very apt here. Uncle Bitter, when you look in the mirror, do you see yourself as you are, or as you want to be?
  22. Actually he was good, yes agree.
  23. Dunstan and Harmes were excellent. The rest, oh dear.
  24. You could not possibly play him in the seniors on that performance, nor Tom. Our key forward stocks are looking very thin atm.
  25. Woey another turnover. Don’t know what is going on.
