TRAINING: Monday 1st March 2021
Thanks for making the trek again Pickett itās appreciated but no offence youāve been too WAY OVER THE TOP BEFORE for me to take you on your merit. BBB is doing rehab... yay Majak moves well for his size, heās not proven he can play the game at a consistent average level let alone high standard. Vanders aināt a modern day footy player.

POSTGAME: Practice Match vs Richmond
Yet in the same body but not. If he can deliver that week in week out then he is 100 times better than the last 2 seasons. He clunked marks, the major thing we all cracked the sad's about, he literally couldn't mark. He got to contests, the second thing on his "to do list" he couldn't execute the last couple of years. Well done to the person's who told him to bulk up...

POSTGAME: Practice Match vs Richmond
This is the point, how does the club view his offensive outcomes vs his/team defensive outcomes?? Will he and his defenders he plays with, give us more high danger scoring chances per possession* than his direct opponent? ie does his run and long kicking drive give us more high danger (20-30 meters out "directly in front") shots at goal or does he turn it over too often to cause us to have too many high danger chances against? *sort of stolen from ice hockey, its incredible that fan websites in the US have developed sets of data relating to high danger scoring changes and high danger goalie saves.

POSTGAME: Practice Match vs Richmond
hang on.... hang on.... HANG ON!!! I'm sure I saw a post in the preseason game day thread (game 1) that on form Jones is done!!!! Look he's never been a world beater and he struggled last year BUT I think this year he'll give us moments of "win" and he will earn the 300 games. He ain't the player he was but I think he is best 22, at this point.

And another one.... gggeeezz it just must be Heritier calling himself bad names... same big names called out in this one. https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-news-2021-shae-mcnamara-twitter-support-for-heritier-lumumba-luke-ball-nick-maxwell-dog-eddie-mcguire/news-story/6b7af0b7e6130c444f0c28503208fb8c

Review Finds Collingwood Guilty of Systemic Racism
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2021/feb/20/former-collingwood-player-leon-davis-we-dont-want-our-kids-to-have-to-go-through-the-[censored] I imagine ours and other clubs pasts are similar and man itās hurtful to read these kinds of stories. I really hope with the guidance of Wrecker and Jetta there are better support networks for indigenous players and staff and our players are better educated.

M Thatās a great stat! The way the %ās are we basically need to win every game from here out to make top 2 let alone top 4. Going to be a tough slog for the W team.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MAJAK DAW
My good lady has brought a few items off Facebook marketplace, two 70s liking side boards, the look grand and were an ok price. I went to collect them and situate them in the Ute, took me some time, while I was doing so the lass who sold them wandered out of her house to her car. As she opened the boot she said ā the things you find on the side of the roadā and preceded to pull out 3 weathered tables she was going to do up and sell for a tidy profit. Made me laugh/sad face. Majak isnāt weathered, heās still learning the caper. Personally if he dropped a few kgs I think heād be able to get to a few more fwd contests and clunk a couple more marks.
