I’m at panic stations already because of my MFCSS issues let alone the Clarke debacle all of those years ago thrown in on top. To be fair people did question the trade for a bloke with a knee injury but most (inc me) thought it was fine if we did the trade. ie we did our due diligence. Fingers crossed for the further review, without him we’re a little fkd.

So nothing to do with his knee then?

Pickett, Oliver, Smith, Langdon, Salem all need a rest then.

plus Kayo has lost the Rugby to Stan ffs...

Review Finds Collingwood Guilty of Systemic Racism
Cards13 replied to rjay's topic in Melbourne Demons
As someone who managed a sponsorship relationship with an AFL club we would be asking questions about all of this and reviewing our contract from when the report was first noted as going to take place. ie oh I see an independent review is happening into racism at the club... do tell... and when will we know the outcome of it BEFORE the public... -

Very “special” indeed and tweddledum joins him -
I noticed that as well but it is a real change over his career, he has gotten bigger and leaner (lost the "puppy fat"). I don't know if he is good enough for midfield minutes but I just think he is wasted as an up and down the ground running fwd.

Good old Gil jumping in saying racism is bad lol, the AFL should have done more to censure McGuire over the years. They’ve let Goodes and Lumumba down many times and washed there hands of the issue. -

The club appears to be letting McGuire do just that. -

Take the heat out of the race debate where you’ve had a report LEAKED (I think this is a point most are missing, the Pies hid this) delivered that says your club is systematically racist... ok mate. -

If it wasn’t such a fkd issue it would be a laughable response from the president of that club. “A proud day”... that a report was leaked, we didn’t release it/kept it under our hats since December, that shows our club was systemically racist and caused damage to indigenous and African decent players..” Wow that is Trumpian at its finest. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - FRASER ROSMAN

LOLs!! A Wattsy drive by and not putting pressure on the kid by saying he'll be better than Watts, brilliant! -
Lordy Lordy Lordy!

Good to see, they should mandate it at all levels of footy. Very hard to police in a lot of instances down from the AFL but you'd rather be cautious than do nothing.

Good lord not another fatso like Trac?! Seriously it is good to see he sees an area of improvement in his game that he can target to go 2 steps ahead of his current output. If he can not just halve but win more contests than he halves and he loses even less then things will look very good for the Dees next season.
-
See I told you there is no way he is playing wing for us... #fingeronthepulse We’ve gone for chocies to boiled lollies on the injury front by the sounds of it. Dang.

HB very sorry to hear. I recall his story about his wife and himself, very sad to hear cancer claimed him and leaves behind the kids. I totally feel the doing the washing or folding clothes piece nowadays haha. Cancer is a [censored], I went to see my old man who died 20ys ago on the 16th of Jan in Apollo Bay. We spread his ashes in the ocean across the road from our family house on the Great Ocean Road. He was a mad Dees man, he used to wear a Dees track suit (top and bottoms),scarf/hat (depending on season) and on those really cold days the full length Dees coat over the top. An impressive site I’ll never forget. The last game we got to was the 2000 granny, but one of my most vidid memories was taking him out of hospital and wheeling him down Swanston st in a wheel chair (The Docs and Mum said he wasn’t allowed to go as he was so sick, he demanded I do the right thing by him and take him) for the Reconciliation March. He was a staunch/aggressive anti-rascist/advocate for the indigenous community. He had a smile the whole time even though I kept having to take him to the side of the road for him to vomit and then at the end of the March I had to lay him down to sleep until he had enough strength for the return leg. Possibly the proudest I’ve ever been. RIP Mark and Bryan.

Man he is tall!

Yeap I’m sure as part of the AFL led protocols he has too, under the assumption we’ll be fined by the AFL if he break them, good on him.
