That you have have missed the point of the lengthy article and your first response was with a line about his “Angolan father” abandoning the family and how “obsessed with himself” that made Hertier as a footballer and person. Hertier (and f k you @Cranky Franky) for deliberately calling him Harry in your see through reply) has clearly struggled within the confines of Aust let alone the AFL spotlight You then try to justify it with a “if you don’t know how your father leaving feels” line while them being hypersensitive to a question about your first post. The fact you don’t see it is staggering.

I do, every time I walk past his statue at the G. “[censored] weak thug Matthews!”. Doesn’t seem to do much though.

Were you quoting me Sue? Was just a little gag on off seasons past v present, the transformation/maturity. Soz if it fell flat.

He and BBB will be the cultist of cult hairstyle fwds in the league.

What has his father leaving got to do with him finding and embracing his history and culture and his racist experiences at Collingwood and the turning of people opinions of him because he is outspoken?

Josh Mahoney has an unhealthy habit of being bent over after the footy season finishes. Pert had really taken over from PJ and pushed us further ahead. Vanders not only makes his team mates “walk taller” he is damaging with the ball in hand.

“When no one is watching that, is where the race is won” Lols!!

Ps this is a professional athlete, I keep banging on about it but NHL guys spend most off season preparing for next season (they do have shorter training camps), because they realise their skills/fitness/body are the tools they need to improve on every off season. Well done LJ.

Don’t ruin the fun DJ!! Why is it only ESS that this has come out about? From the article they’ve screwed the pooch on this one, take your staff through it before a group email to tell them of a pay issue. The next employee engagement survey will be a pearler.

Ess and “meant well”... lolz

https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/unnecessarily-provocative-dons-backpedal-after-player-pay-email-20201129-p56iw8.html A member/coterie/sponsor rich and one of the super clubs doing this is nuts.

Exactly, especially at RFA or FA time you’d think players would head to warmer climes but I could be wrong.

If Tmac gets close to 2018 form, Jacko progresses and plays 10 good quality games AND triple B gets back to his 40+ goal form then we’re a genuine premiership contender. Always lots of if’s and buts buuuttt our fwd line was the let down last season.

Can you imagine players staying for long periods of time at a Tassie based club? They’d have to pay overs to retain/recruit players surely.

My grandfather being one of those “losers” (kidding of course). He was lucky enough to see all the Dees success but admired RDB so much that he supported the blues When he moved across. He got to see 2 sets of glory years for the clubs he supported. Dad and I mercilessly mocked him for not sticking true and he would just laugh telling us we were fools for following the Dees... here I am at 43 trying to brainwash my 2 lads into our cult lol. -
The old Broady stand over merchant... "yea mate she'll be right, I can do you a solid.... I might just give you a call one day if I need a hand with something."

Well off to Casey we go.
-
Our MCG sized ground is Casey, that was from Bartlett from the podcast he went on.
-
The hardest part seems to be the stakeholder engagement and putting pen to paper phases DrD, but yes I agree it is getting very very very frustrating. I mentioned it awhile ago but the fact it will be a Docklands oval size LD ground is not ideal either, even if they can get the approval.

Underappreciated post ht

"business case doesn't stand up"... lol!! As if something as silly as a business case has stopped Governments from doing what they want to garner as many votes for the next election. Unfortunately for us we're in between a rock and a hard place. the Cats, Doggies etc all have home bases and probably "shovel ready" projects ready to go. Plus areas hotly contested at State and Fed elections. We have neither a home base or a big enough supporter base for anyone to give a f about.
