I’ve been a Demonland member since early 2008, and never gone on a rant, but ……….. bloody hell!

Spargo was among our best for Casey, and I think we missed his delivery inside 50, and probably his forward 50 pressure as well. Do the panel agree? If so, and he comes in, who goes out? IMO both JJ and Chin have earned another week.

Agree, but that’s what good teams do! For the most part we were awful, but g&d got us over the line. Great relief when the siren sounded. Now I need something to ease my hoarse throat.

We could, we should, we will? I expect GCS to make a nuisance of themselves for a long way, but our classy forwards (Kozzie, Chin & Fritta) and midfield depth, should prevail in the end. If it goes ‘down to the wire’ (which won’t altogether surprise me), l hope some of Clarrie’s ‘never say die’ attitude is contagious! I’m a bit uneasy about this one, but Dees by 30.

I love the concept, and I love our Club for initiating it. We are pacesetters with our culture of respect. Long may it continue!

Simple question, but imo, not such a simple answer: Going forward (this year and longer term) is Harry Petty more important to our team as a KPF or KPD? I understand that the answer to this question may be covered in discussion of other questions above. Keep up the great work guys!

Like many Demonlanders, I have a galloping case of MFCSS, brought about by our insipid performance last Saturday, and not helped by the Casey result yesterday. The remedy is simple! Play the Melbourne way, with our ‘trade mark’ defence, intensity and contest work, and we’ll walk away from tonight’s big stage with our pride and reputation in tact ………. I’m not prepared to even think about the alternative!

I thought this match would be a lay down misere for Casey, given our recent form, and our high number of AFL listed representatives, relative to very few for R’mond. Consequently, I made the (serious) mistake of making an alternate commitment, on the grounds that I would read Demonland when I returned home, and sleep very well tonight. It’s hard for me to comprehend the final result, even after quite a few Cabernets. Very disappointing indeed!

Another fantastic poddy guys. Tuned in yesterday on the 700km haul between Adelaide and Hay, on our way home from the Gather Round. Took 2hrs off the long drive in no time. Love your work! Go Dees!
