  1. As an interstate member, Demonland, and itā€™s much celebrated Pod, are my lifelines to the AFL and our beloved Dees.
  2. experience? ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦. did you mean ā€˜quality of lifeā€™?
  3. Well done Andy, Nasher and all other contributors. You have our backing 100O000%! ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦.. a Premiership without Demonland would be bedlam around these parts.

I love the HU - Wolf Totem! Imagine 50,000 mad Dees fans chanting HU HU HU HU at the G on KB. Enough to make Maynard poo his pants!
  5. If Fritta is dropped for Round 1, Iā€™ll happily fly down to Melbourne, at my expense, to help you and your DA colleagues with the last minute alterations to the banner. Iā€™ll also twist Pickettā€™s arm, until he begs for mercy, and joins the working party.
  6. Outstanding work guys! Absolutely loved the great range of questions from fellow Demonlanders, and your thoughtful, balanced and entertaining responses. Thank you! āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø
  7. Like others, Iā€™m very sorry to see Benny leaving. He was an outstanding ambassador for our club.
  8. Iā€™m really looking forward to this game. It will be a great opportunity for our boys to shed some of the inevitable early season rust, and it should give us supporters some genuine insights into the Dees of 2025. No injuries is, of course, an imperative! Unlike some Demonlanders who have said that the scoreboard is unimportant, I really want a win. Beating a quality side on the road, will be the perfect builder of confidence and self belief to kick start the new season. Go Dees! ā¤ļø šŸ’™
  9. Good on him. I hope he becomes a Premiership player with us!
  10. I couldnā€™t agree more LDC. Itā€™s far too easy to take this wonderful site for granted, and to ignore the enormous effort that it takes by a plethora of people, to keep it up and going. As an interstate member, Demonland is my lifeline to the real world of the MFC and the AFL.

18 goals. Unbelievable! I doubt (and hope!) that it will never be beaten.

    Justice at long last!
  13. Off to a flying start to the season guys. Absorbing listening as always. Thank you!
  14. Perfect choices! Both bring very different but outstanding attributes to the role of leadership. They complement each other extremely well.
  15. Without seeing any of our recruits live, Iā€™m going to stick my neck out, and say that our recruiters have done an outstanding job this off season. Jai is just the latest of a great bunch! ā¤ļøšŸ’™
  16. I feel shattered for the poor kid. Heā€™s worked so hard to get to this level, and all his effort was just starting to bear fruit. Footy can be a cruel sport!
  17. Respect for Gus?
  18. Love the return of the Pod guys. I hope you are all refreshed, and ready to go, in a year that will tell us a great deal about our ā€˜new lookā€™ Dees. I thought there were plenty of positives to take away from the Match Sim vs North, but perhaps the greatest of all, was the competition we seem likely to have for senior spots, across all lines. To me, the scope seems very much greater than it did last year. What do the Panel think (?) and how crucial will it be to our chances in 2025?
  19. As much as I value the outstanding reports from our track watchers, thereā€™s nothing quite like watching footy through your own eyes. Iā€™m excited at the prospect! The scoreboard will be irrelevant, but Iā€™m hoping to get an early glimpse of what season ā€˜25 might look like for our Dees, both in terms of game style, and what our best team might look like.

Thanks so much for posting bushy. Iā€™m more than happy to admit that I was a youngster in ā€˜48, and that Flag is probably the main reason Iā€™m still a proud Dee to this day! ps. I was always a bit of a rebel back then, and my folks were ā€˜one-eyedā€™ Bombers. It was a perfect opportunity for a bit of one-upmanship.
  21. Gee Tarax, that one takes me back a few years! Lou Richardsā€™ header on the back page of the Herald Sun, after a particularly memorable QB thrashing by our Demons over Collingwood in the early 1960s: ā€œMagpies Today, Feather Dusters Tomorrowā€ . It must have hurt Louie so much to pen those lines. I love them, and long may the theme continue!
  22. The possibility of that happening might have just increased with the recruitment of Jack Henderson via the SSP process.
  23. ā€¦ā€¦.. so the bloody Magpies get away scot-free again??
  24. Jefferson Airplane!
  25. Not only that, but she does an awesome job! ā¤ļøšŸ’™
