Trac cracked rib
This is a disappointing setback for all of us, but I commend our Club for communicating the news immediately. This probably wouldn’t have happened a few months ago.

Compliments of the Season
Merry Christmas to all, and special thanks to Andy and the rest of his crew for this wonderful site. Special mention to our fantastic track watchers as well. Living in this dump of a place (Canberra), Demonland is my football ‘lifeline’. ❤️💙

Gather Round Ticket Fail
It was a nightmare for Mrs DOF and me. 33,000 ahead of us when we logged in, and when we eventually reached the head of the queue and tried to pay for the tickets, a message came up rejecting our credit card details. We checked and verified the details and repeated the process three more times, all with the same result. We were close to giving up in frustration, when an email arrived confirming that we had successfully purchased our tickets. Presumably some sort of system glitch had given us a false message. I suppose that all’s well that ends well, but that’s two hours of our lives that we won’t get back!

PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 2nd December 2024
What a fabulous / positive thread …….. and it hasn’t been derailed once by needless one-up man-ship. A real pleasure to read. Huge thanks to all contributors!

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND AND THE MFC - Jasmine Garner
I wish I could put both a double ‘Love’ and ‘Thumbs Down’ emoji beside your post Luci (for the obvious reasons), but unfortunately I can’t! ps. I hope that makes sense.

Those boys are genuinely excited! So am I!

Defensive forward - ANB’s replacement?
IMO Nibbler’s role is irreplaceable by one player, given our current list. If the role is to be adequately replaced, it will be a shared role between a combination of players like Lingers and Chin, or perhaps AMW (if he has the tank) and Chin.

Does the club need a full and external review?
That’s perfectly sensible!

Does the club need a full and external review?
If I’m interpreting what you are saying correctly, that’s a very hasty, narrow minded, ill informed, ignorant, and dare I say it, hurtful comment. I’m a 45+ year premium member who lives interstate. I pay a large sum of money each year, for my myself and my ‘one eyed’ Demon family members, as a pledge of loyalty and financial support for the Club l love, and have barracked for since the 1950s. We travel to as many games as I can each year, but I admit that it’s probably less than 20% of games! After the loyalty and support I’ve shown to our Club, I’m astounded that you would suggest that me and my family to be denied membership in 2025 and beyond! “Win-win if the MFC knocks them back”? I don’t get it! I doubt the MFC would either. PS. I unreservedly apologise if I have completely misinterpreted your post!

- How Many Weeks For Kozzy?
Gross miscarriage of justice.- How Many Weeks For Kozzy?
I’m outraged by this call. It is just so wrong! I thought one week would be tough given Moore’s complicity in the accident, but when the word ‘concussion’ came into the equation, I was half prepared for that outcome. However three weeks is completely beyond the pale. It’s outrageous and totally unjust! We simply must appeal!- VOTES: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
On a night when there were very few shining lights wearing red and blue: 6. TMac - very reliable in an undermanned defence. Capped off a very solid year, after many of us thought that injury and Father Time had caught up with him. 5. Gawn - leadership by example is what we’ve come to expect from Max, and that’s what we got, from the start to the final siren (I loved the passion / determination in his eyes when he addressed the players immediately after the lightening break). Another AA coming up, together with prestigious Demonland Player of the Year. 4. Chandler - often maligned, but I thought this was one of his best games for the club. Has made good progress this year imo. 3. Salem - solid game, but spoiled a bit of his good work with uncharacteristically ‘iffy’ disposal. Having said that, he probably chose some more difficult options with a view opening up the field for our boys, and, in the circumstances of the game, you can’t blame him for that. 2. Pickett - a typical Kozzi ‘live wire’ game. Our only forward who always looked dangerous when the ball was in his area. Unfortunately, it didn’t get in there often enough. 1. Rivers - got a fair bit of the ball, but ‘butchered’ it too often. Still a solid game from a player who is still learning the trade- PREGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
