Too simple to say lazy, doesn't work hard enough etc. Probably going to be a late maturer. Aerobic capacity has always been a work in progress. He'll get there. He'll be more like Dustin Martin and mature at 25, not 21.

You working on the boats these days Skuit? ?

Knightmare's assessments are generally excellent. So right on Petracca's endurance, Stretch's marking ability and ANB's rushed, scrubber kicks.
-
Interesting take. Have seen Duursma go as high as 10 in some phantoms.
-
Here's hoping Stretch is that long lost wingman. Injury free we look good!

Always said Melbourne supporters are better looking than all other fans. Meaghan will look fabulous in red and blue!

Like this. Another genuine mongrel bar steward. We have a few in the team now with Milkman, Viney, Lever, Preuss, Nev, etc. -
Liked him in his draft year. You would have wanted him to show a bit more after three seasons. The really good kids tend to make some sort of impact in their first year.
-
Good move. Message to rest of the group that you need to earn your half a million a year.

Aaron vandenBerg not going - signs a new deal!!!

This is good news. Vanders is one of those spiritual-type players that is worth more to the club than what appears on the surface. -
Hallellujah Skuit!
-
Sorry Skuit, but every team in the comp would want Gaff in their team and to a lesser extent Sheil. Both would get starting gigs in all 18 teams. In Melbourne's case, someone like Gaff would fill a need for outside gutrunners that can dispose of the pill properly. Gaff is second only to Whitfield here. No midfield is so strong as to not have blokes of this calibre.

If you haven't got to So Long Marianne yet keep listening.

A move is probably a good thing. Writing puff pieces for the team you barrack for could leave you unfulfilled!

Has been searching houses in the Casey/Berwick area this year...

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ

If he comes to Melbourne let's hope he's not just another high draft pick that doesn't quite make it despite changing clubs. Jono O'Rourke, Gysberts, Toumpas, etc -

Not so sure. Been told by Gold Coast to explore his options. Raking left foot kicks are always welcome! Maybe part of the answer to our outside woes. -
Fraction surprised with this. Carlton would bend over backwards for someone that is able to kick four goals in an AFL game like Bugg did against Norf this season.

What an ordinary comment.

Former German Chancellor's like this.
-
The positive thing is this should burn in the gut of every player and give them something to strive for next season. Also Bayley Fritsch didn't have to experience this and can play in a flag tomorrow. The disappointing thing is the lack of composure from some of the leaders. Lewis, Gawn, Jones, Viney in the first half. Buck stops with them.

Midfield can't touch it. Defence has no hope. -

Do not like this one bit. Fritta has been played out of position for weeks now. Had done a solid job for the team. Replaced by someone with no football skills. They've panicked. -
Like the call for Fritsch to play further up the ground. Not sure Hunt or Smith instill much confidence in me...
