  1. And… There’s nothing hampering him. He’s training and playing as if back spasms never even happened. Is that enough elaboration for you, Sire? btw I’m annoying my sister from another mister, messaging her begging for info and it’s all because of you!
  2. Roo is there participating in a match sim. Looks fine. 👍🏽 As noted, Petts trained as normal. Kolt is running A LOT. Looking really good.
  3. The ring on Maysie’s finger (above) isn’t a fashion statement. It’s like a Fitbit but worn on the finger, not the wrist. It monitors sleep, energy expended, heart-rate etc. How’s this for a half-baked idea: At the Season Launch Salo took his ring off and handed it to me. I said imagine how funny it’d be if I wore it for the night. The Club would be justifiably worried sick about the data received and they’d be like wtf has happened to Christian? And they’d put him on the long-term injury list. 😅 We had a laugh about it but decided yeah nah, not funny at all.
  4. Yes! In particular, folks from India. I’ve met two separate Indian spectators at training who’ve asked me about the Demon Army and both have signed up, one signed up his girlfriend and the other signed up her son. That’s four MFC & DA memberships. They’ve told me they chose Melbourne upon arriving in Australia because it’s the name of the city they now call home. Besides that, they’re passionate Test Match cricket fans and that passion is easily funnelled into footy during winter. There’s a market just waiting to be tapped into!
  5. See You Next Tuesday 😁 But I get to pick the music that opens our show, k? I don’t know what it will be but what I do know is that it’ll be better than the song that opens the Demonland podcast coz no song is as bad as that one.
  6. I suppose it would be nice and warm inside a bowling pin costume, as long as we don’t wear them when it’s hot. Last year we wore the Gussy helmets for round one and the temperature hovered around 30 degrees. It was the world’s worst case of mass bad hair day when the siren sounded and we ripped them off. Funnily enough, that match was a rare occasion where no one was hit in the head with the ball.
  7. On Monday nights? Wouldn’t we be stealing the Demonland podcast’s listeners?
  8. If he is dropped I hope we know before the 13th of March. I have no opinion on whether or not he should be dropped, I’m more concerned with making a special banner and not being able to use it. Or having to leave the Jimmy side intact and last-minute changing to the other side of a heavy detailed banner which is a pain in the arze. PS I have nfi what your aubergine/Rangoon analogy means.
  9. Jim’s Game and Fritta’s 150th both figure on the round one banner. Our very clever boss-lady suggested we tie the two in together and have “BAYLEY O’FRITTA 150 GAMES” 🤣
  10. Like it’s not dangerous enough being directly behind the goals as it is. 😂
  11. Killing on the name (of) is an awesome choice and it’s one of many awesome choices but again, they don’t flow nicely into the ebullient opening burst of our song. Even Scatman can’t match it.
  12. You can spend a lifetime searching and you’ll still not find an appropriate song to lead into our club song. In the history of mankind has there ever been a happier explosion of happiness to open a song as ours is? I think not.
  13. This is what I was told too, Kev. So, it’s pretty much the same format only the Casey session is tomorrow instead of today, thus enabling the boys to have what will be their last break for a while.
  14. Of course it was! We believe you. Luckily there are plenty more opportunities for you to attend and I tell you this: you’d wanna submit a kickarze report, and in a timely fashion. I trust we understand one another.
  15. You’re a Snorbs gal??????
  16. Thanks Luci.
  17. I wanna know who did Auskick in St Albans!
  18. Good for us, of course. But I feel bad for Jesse ☹️
  19. There’s no precedent to look at. It wouldn’t surprise me to hear airlines aren’t gonna take circumstances into consideration; refunds won’t be given and rescheduling flights would incur a cost. Hotels and Airbnbs etc. will probably be a little more flexible and understanding. I feel for the travelling teams’ cheer squads and fans who would’ve booked flights and accommodation when the fixture was released. What does surprise me is that our club’s not involved. This situation is peak MFC. 😂
  20. A Dogga quote from Oct. 2022…
  21. Yeah I just saw this. It’s a huge loss. BBB is such an asset for any club, for too many reasons to mention. This is so sad, but it’s clearly a good choice for him. He has a young family and needs to prioritise them. Sure gonna miss him.
  22. Nooooo!!! What a massive loss for our club. We will most certainly rue this. And of all clubs why does it have to be Essendon 🤮
  23. BBB should most definitely be offered this role. I don’t know if he’s gonna continue to work with our girls this season but since that’s unpaid work, I’m guessing it can’t be sustained and we might lose him to another club.
  24. They may do it differently at Casey fields but at Gosch’s it seems a low priority. Sometimes none of the coaches are even watching let alone schooling. Or if one of them is watching, he’s watching all set shots at the same time. Also, it appears the players are choosing for themselves from where to take shots. It’s also not a lengthy part of the session, always at the end, and conducted while players have left, or are leaving for the rooms.
  25. The vicious circle rears its ugly head. Confidence is eroded with every set shot missed. And without confidence, set shot misses are bound to happen more and more. I don’t know a solution for this but I dearly hope someone at the club is working on it.
