I pretended we’re friends) is rapt that he’s been named. He said, “He’ll be behind the goals with you?” I said, “Nah, he’s not even going to be at the game.” He nodded slowly and had the look on his face of Cool, my biggest fan won’t even be there. All players are here. I congratulated the debs and as I hugged each one the rest of the boys yelled and clapped, especially for Jeffo, they went nuts. X escaped my clutches but Maxy called him back. Maxy knows: keep the nuffie happy and she’ll leave you alone 😝

I hear ya, Deeves. The ‘G is indeed a very special place, and not just when games are playing there. I regularly have occasion to be there when there’s nothing on and that’s when the experience is next level spiritual. It’s a beautiful imposing structure and there’s no better sporting venue on the planet. An extra special experience is Sleep at the ‘G in May every year. Wandering around the concourse in the dark is amazing and waking up there is trippy.

Please god the same thing that happened to the scores last night doesn’t happen tonight. For the love of all things good and holy, PLEASE DON’T LET ESSENDON WIN. Amen
