  1. So yeah, this ginormous Tracc graphic came to us in four sections (as do all milestone graphics of this size) and the sections have white borders which need to be trimmed off. I trimmed one section then slid it off to the side to make enough room to lay out the next section and this is what happened… 🫣🤭
  2. Happy birthday, SPC! Here’s to a win for you while surrounded by folks who hate footy!!! 😅 Have a great day, regardless x
  3. You stumping up for airfare and accomm?
  4. All good, Kat. It’s back to the usual time (4-7pm) next week, thank goodness. This 6-9pm time-slot means watching the footy on the train ride home and although I wear headphones that doesn’t mean I don’t occasionally let slip with something like, “&@%# you, Bailey Smith, you @&#*%# piece of %*&@%* 😅
  5. When I shared a little of a convo I had with Tracc last year a certain poster replied, “Guaranteed that conversation never happened.” More recently I quoted Clarrie (verbatim) and was reported for posting the “most appalling post” ever seen on Demonland (according to a different poster). So now, apart from conversations about haircuts or moustaches or favourite songs etc. I don’t share anything. Anyways, on a much happier note, this is a “thumbnail” of the graphic on Sunday’s banner… It’s gonna look incredible from the stands. I don’t have a pic of the other side of the banner but it’s a giant graphic of Kozzie’s dad’s beautiful design.
  6. Chin Wag makes me think of Chin’s W.A.G., who’s a lovely girl btw but I’m not sure she’d make a good poddy 😅
  7. Kozzie isn’t shy, he’s introverted. It’s pointless trying to read into anything he says publicly because he’s extremely uncomfortable speaking to many people at once and this affects what he says and/or the way in which he says things.
  8. Main training was at Casey this morning. I wasn’t there but my friend was. She couldn’t see much from behind the fence but she did say that both Spargo and Windsor ran laps for a bit then went back to the rooms 🤷‍♀️
  9. Nooooo! I’m a crazy bird lover. I’d take the bullet to spare Auzzie. What a majestic sight he was.
  10. Thank you, dpositive! I will pass this on to Ryan and the rest of the squad ❤️💙 A funny thing you wouldn’t have known at the time: at the Perth prematch function, while Ryan was interviewing Chunk, a willie wagtail made his way into the room. Ryan has a morbid fear of birds and it took every fibre of his being to keep his wits about him. He was conscious of the little feathery cutie and its whereabouts in the room the entire time. Ryan is rarely on banner crew because he’s needed in our bay to rev up the squad when the players run out. He definitely would NOT have been on banner-raising in Perth because Auzzie the Eagle did his thing: circling Optus, progressively getting closer to the ground then landing in the centre of the oval, returning to his handler. Just the thought of this put Ryan in a cold sweat 🤣 When we were waiting to go out on the ground an Optus staff member worded us up on the Auzzie thing. We were told to sit or squat on the turf and stay perfectly still right up until it was time to raise the banner, if it looked like Auzzie was gonna swoop we were to lie flat on our stomachs and not move a muscle, then he says, “Oh, and Auzzie doesn’t like the colour red.” 😳😳😳
  11. I was so angry about having to be a part of opening round. Having to travel to Sydney for the first game of the year sucked, and I felt bad for the many Dees fans who couldn’t attend and therefore missed out on being at our first game of the season. But what made me super angry is that we were picked to participate in the stupid idea of opening round because the AFL sure loves them a narrative, in this case: Grundy up against his former side. I maintain we wouldn’t have been involved in opening round if not for this.
  12. Clarrie always gets the biggest hug 💖
  13. @whatwhat say what just wanted to let you know that a different ch. 9 reporter was there today (Joel) and a different cameraman (Shane) and I told them that clearly ch. 9 employs nice people only. But I added, “Except for Tom Morris.” Joel exclaimed, “But Tom’s a mad Demons supporter!” I said that I’d been told Tom barracks for the story. Both Joel and Shane, after having a laugh at that, said Tom is indeed a loyal Melbourne supporter. As I was leaving I said, “Trent last week and you today, Joel… when is it Tom’s turn?” Joel said, “Probably never!” 😂
  14. Since I’ve been in the DA Ryan’s only missed attending one game, opening round last year and that was only because his flight was delayed.
  15. Yeah but I see you all the time. I welcome fresh peeps to annoy 😅
  16. 😂 So last Friday at Gosch’s Chocco asked if he could take a photo of me. I asked what it was for and as can be imagined all manner of rude jokes ensued. But he never did tell me why. Today after training he told me why he wanted the pic. On Sunday before the match he gave a talk to the playing group. I’m not sure what the theme was but Chocco had an accompanying slide show which included the pic he’d taken of me. He said some of the boys called out, “Hey, that’s Ghosty!” (not her real name 😁). Bless. And if you think I’m not gonna credit the win to this you’d be sadly mistaken. 😂
  17. Yes and his throat is fine
  18. That’s him. And he doesn’t need a gold glittery jacket, or five hours of makeup application (looking at you, Catman) to stand out. Ok, the hair is a thing but he chooses to colour it anyways, not just for the cheer squad.
  19. Ch. 9 and ABC interviewing Ricky Lever right now. My newest buddy Lexie (ABC reporter) is asking him questions of which I fully approve. 😝
  20. The big question this arvo is who will Ghosty hug first. Mind you, not everyone is on my hug list. I’m discerning. Okay the boys are out here now. Understandably, the mood is awesome! The boys are doing drills (with oval balls!) on the other side of the ground while admin staff are playing dodge ball right in front of me and how I wish I had some popcorn right now coz I just KNOW someone’s about to make a complete arze of themselves. Seems Marty Hore is the only rehabber out here Now the boys are playing dodge ball, bloody hilarious. Tracc is ridiculously competitive, and Harves just as much. Now it’s down to the two finalists: Chin and the Bison. Chin’s the winner! Oh this is cruel… they’re making Chin go back the middle by himself to see who can hit him. And it’s Jai who delivers the final blow.
  21. So ya met Ryan huh? And while you were there talking to Ryan you didn’t think to widen your view a little, say, to the row in front of Ryan, almost directly in front of him? Clearly not, else you could’ve met another DA member, one who was running on three hours sleep and five Red Bulls, one who felt like setting her friggin flogger on fire coz her biceps were crying in pain. Don’t be a stranger next time! 😊
  22. Yeah Ryan was there. He’d go to Mars to watch our beloved Dees. Ryan doesn’t look it, but he’Il be 43yo in July. He also doesn’t act it and he’s the first to admit it 😊). As @Katrina Dee Fan said, he’s the most gracious beautiful person you could ever hope to meet. Every week we see little kids watching him and trying to emulate him. It’s heartwarming.
  23. Ardu’s sister who is also her best friend now lives in Melbourne “not even 10 minutes away.” She spends a lot of time with the little family. Kozzie’s sister moved to Melbourne earlier this year. She too is super close to Ardu
  24. About six months ago Ardu told me that her and Koz are not leaving Melbourne. About two months ago Ardu told me that her and Koz are not leaving Melbourne. Two weeks ago in Perth (before our match) Ardu and I were talking and Bellanie reached out and started playing with my shiny red and blue nails. Ardu said she’s getting to know me and that it’s cool that I’m getting to see Bellanie grow up. Now, I certainly ain’t fixin’ on moving outta Melbz so I can only assume Ardu means I’ll see Bellanie grow up in Melbourne. 😁
