She's always had these weird campaigns moreso than any other media personality I've seen. North fans will tell you about her push to relocate them before the Gold Coast came in. Generally her agendas fall in line with what the AFL want which tells you a bit about where her bread is buttered.

Thought his argument was a bit messy. He said in a sense the Tassie job would be easier because the players would all be self-driven professionals. Not sure how he knows that or what he's basing that on. They will mostly be 18 year olds who will need a lot of guidance.

A very awkward position to be in last night.

I'm not completely shut off to the notion of trading Trac or Oliver for that matter. I just think that if there was a decent chance of it happening there would have been something a little more tangible by now than a few journo's saying they think we should do it. Also just think that a fresh coach is going to be naturally conservative when it comes to list management decisions. Adam Simpson recently said that if he was coming in as a new coach the only players he'd try to move on immediately are the guys who say they don't want to be there.

Completely agree. It's all based on the stories from last year and both their form being down. Bit like the Steven May story from last week where the author basically supposed that we want him gone and the Dogs would be a good fit, before finding out the Dogs have no interest at all in him.

Not sure what you mean but if Trac's agent was actually trying to get him to another club then we probably would have heard about it by now. The stories around both Oliver and Trac potentially leaving this year have so far been purely speculative. I think the only way any of our big name players are moved on this season is if they basically ask the new coach if they can leave. Would be very surprised if the next coach is pushing guys out a month into the job.

A little odd that in an otherwise sraightforward article Twomey felt the need to throw in his two cents about trading Trac.

Yes I am aware. That we have made 'concessions' around the use of the ovals/facilities and rent implies there are certain privileges we would have liked to enjoy that we have now let go. Ultimately it will be good to know exactly what deal we are getting.

Considering how Bailey Smith spoke at the AA about his mental health post-injury I think I'll be cutting Petracca some slack over his social media content.

Goodwin would easily have been the best player out of the past 10 years of premiership coaches. It's a completely different skillset.
