Where has this man disappeared to? Not named in Casey again from all reports?
-
Captain? Haha great....
-
Besides T Cloke, who else has had this much media scrutiny + delayed talks... And stayed in the end?

Surely Vince to HBF and Oliver into the midfield makes more sense. -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 7

The game has passed Viv. He is too slow and not good enough by foot to carry his lack of pace. I'm left wondering what the plan is behind this, unless one of our contested beasts is going to be a surprise out. Maybe Dom? -
Can someone copy the link and DM/put it in here? I think I may have accidently deleted the mail

Salem ruled out. Oliver will come in. No mention on Harmes' corkie, but I'd say ANB would be very close.
-
No idea how reliable a source, but through mates of mine, I've heard he is definitely looking at other options. He'd prefer to stay in Vic, but GC wasn't off the table either (this was about 2 weeks ago.. so may have cooled on them now). He would be one of the 12 that could demand a huge pay packet somewhere else. Not sure if we could afford Hogan and him.

We weren't at our best yesterday, that's clear. However, wholesale changes aren't required. Put aside round 2, we have beaten 3 out of the 4 teams at our level and just lost to a 6-0 team in Tasmania. I looked at pies, Tigers and saints.. And thought 2 wins would be a great result. That is a massive improvement and from my point of view, just above par for the group. Next 3 we have GC, Dogs, Lions. 2 out of the 3 would be a great result. 5-4 at round 9. Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water with an average performance yesterday. We are improving and yet to really click. Back off TMAC too, he was awesome in the majority of games this year too

So pumped.
-
Depends on how it recovers. Pain killers can get him through the game, but if the swelling is still there then he may not have movement in it. Fingers crossed they both miss.
-
Who cares. Salem is our best kick, and the perfect attacking defender. He is actually not bad in 1on1s, even in flight. I love having him in the team, and he doesn't get enough attention for the good things he does.
-
Always, always, always comes back to bite teams. In house, expect to win every week. Just don't put any extra pressure on a team who haven't won 3 in a row for 6 years.
-
Viney has mentioned the 'F' word in his presser this morning. You'd hope the group has learnt from round 2, and not get ahead of themselves. If not, we could get spanked this week. We are still a mid-range team, lets not forget that.
-
He isn't a forward. There must be something wrong, why he can't get a gig in the mid rotations. He started there NAB 1, before his knee injury. Maybe his fitness is the problem? Regardless, he needs to make way for a true HFF in trac.
-
So, if we look at it purely on form, Brayshaw will make way. They won't want to upset the winning balance, so it will be someone who can play the HFF/Mid rotation like gus has been playing. Ins: Trac Out: Gus ------------------------------------------------ FB: Jetta - Dunn - H HB: Salem - McD - Wags C: Vince - N.Jones - Harmes HF: Kent - Hogan - Kennedy FF: Garlett - Pedo - Watts R: Gawn - Tyson - Viney I: Trac - Frost - Hunt - Bugg E: ANB - Trenners - Oliver ----------------------------------------------- Match-ups: T-MAC - Nick Dunn - Bruce Wags - McCartin

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 5, 2016
GawnWithTheWind replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
FWIW. I think they will name deledio, and if he isnt 90-100% on sunday morning, they'll make a late change. Frustrating for my UF team! -
Its all about how CP5 responds now. He can sook in the VFL and miss even more weeks, or bang down the door completely to confirm his spot for round 6. Garlett in the side brings more to the team, but I am disappointed we wont see trac on the big stage,
-
He also said, he looked really good and got through the agility tests. It was more about how he pulled up. He will be named again, and will need to get through fridays full training. I say he will play.
-
Please please please play trac. I honestly see him lifting the excitement from the likes of hogan, kent, harmes, brayshaw, oliver. They will all be jumping out the skin to play with him. Do it roosy. One thing to note this week, in all the pressers from the club, unlike every other week, no one has said he needs more time in the VFL. They more said he is in the mix. Good signs!

Outs: Harmes - Hunt Ins: Vince - Garlett ----------------------------------------------------- FB: Jetta - Dunn - H HB: Salem - McD - Wags C: Bugg - N.Jones - Vince HF: Kent - Hogan - Kennedy FF: Watts - Pedo - Garlett R: Gawn - Viney - Tyson I: M.Jones - Oliver - Frost - Brayshaw E: Hunt - Trac - ANB *Harmes looked cooked about halfway through the 3rd, so maybe a rest for a week. However, I see his spot up for grabs when trac is ready. *Hunt is just very, very unlucky. He was, traditionally, our 21st best player. --------------------------------------------------------------- Matchups: Dunn shut down on Jack Jetta shut down on Lloyd McD to run off Vickery all day Bugg to annoy Cotch all day
-
AVB and Vince will both miss. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2016-04-13/two-changes-maybe-more-says-roos Garlett looks 75% likely, and Brayshaw looks like a lock. One more good game from Hunt in the magoos could push Wagner out and Hunt in. By round 10, our best 22 could look very different.
