Who do you think should be in the gun? Bate, Dunn, Warnock, Maric, Batram, MacDonald, Wonaeamirri, and Spencer are those that I believe are in trouble of losing their spot on the senior list. Warnock and Maric are in danger of deletion. Bate, Dunn, Batram, and Spencer are/or will be surplus soon (tough one with Batram - he is a committed player with an excellent work ethic) and may be traded. If trades don't eventuate I can see the club trying to get some wiggle room by putting Wonna on the Rookie List.

Pretty much what I am thinking. Jones ahead of Trengove maybe. Watts behind that group. Edit - And Sylvia in that Top 5/6 mix.
-
I will be interested in McKenzie - missed a great deal of the season and I still reckon he will be up there...
-
Why? If people give a crap enough about JW on the TFS, they should be allowed to say their piece about the show he is on. Get over it.
-
Funny you should talk about religion - footy is mine. If a show is called The Footy Show - they can be critiqued... This is the biggest team forum in the AFL and the second biggest forum to Bigfooty. We are well within our rights to voice our opinion on a football show.
-
I believe at one point he was. And then he suddenly wasn't...
-
If we didn't have a coach to look forward to tonight this would be such a poor night... I don't know if anyone else feels the same but I really don't care about the vote in the slightest. I want to hear from some people. For various reasons.
-
And yours? This is Demonland, not The Footy Show. At Demonland we all give opinions of various things surrounding the Melbourne Demons and AFL footy in general. Welcome.
-
I haven't met Neeld either but I know the club has changed quite a bit since he has arrived...
-
You like the show. Others do not. Their judgment is surely just as valuable as yours? Let it go, and watch your show...
-
Well that settles it doesn't it? Bailey is gone. No need to forward what could only be considered spurious rumours.
-
No, you trade for them. Sure, you can pick up a Podsiadly or even a Howe, who are not teenagers, but they are rare in the first 30 picks. At the pointy end of the draft, you pick the teenagers you think will be the best players when they are 23.
-
It's rarely that simple OD. You don't draft 18 year olds for what they can do when they are 18, but what you think they will be able to do when they are 23.
-
I'm not speculating on the Hawks' needs. Warnock is out of contract, wants to leave, and isn't good enough to play in our backline. Due to these reasons - we will get very little for him. He has slmost zero value to the MFC at the trade table.
-
You object to the player or the timing?
-
From what I have read - we approached him as Lyon headed to Freo.
-
Was there? Can I have a refresh on that?
-
We apologise for not knowing your track record of predicting good positions for players... Batram can be a defensive forward. But he will not be dangerous in the slightest when he has the footy. He can play that role, but others can play it better. Good luck to him.
-
I don't think you can read too much into the efficiency stat. I mean look at Judd... And are we talking about kicks here or disposals? I have enjoyed Jones' year and he gets undeserved criticism but this stat in isolation is not convincing.
-
Warnock = nothing Maric = 4th rounder 2nd rounder = 2nd rounder Sewell for picks 35 and 71? I really doubt the Hawks will go for that...
-
I just inserted a GIF!! Great stuff Andy. Love this. I am slightly pathetic...
-
Say what? Didn't realise Bailey was doing this. But I don't have such a vivid imagination. Or re-imagination...

Royal to coach Midfield, Greaves assistant
rpfc replied to Trengove the Magnifique 9's topic in Melbourne Demons
As everyone knows - the midfield is the most important area. As for Royal, he has been around the block and is a career coach. I am certain, he would be more comfortable away from the backline. Having said that - it wasn't the backline's fault we allowed so many Inside 50s... I am, however, much more comfortable with Royal in charge of the midfield than West. -
If you jumper punch the devil in the back... What if you miss?
