rpfc's Schadenfreude Corner
Just confirming Constable as a failed pick and has been delisted, and of course Clark traded.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Cool your jets. Garry literally called in to his own radio show and mentioned that he spoke to Jacksonâs parents and they said they were coming over to Melbourne to live and he said âmaybe not right nowâ coz thereâs a pandemic on. Thatâs it. End of story. Film it. Show it every Christmas.

Hawks on the Slide: How Mitchell is making life hard for himself
Bit different for TMac in that we had this discussion with him and encouraged him to find somewhere to go. Hawks just told them they were shopping them and entered into negotiations with teams they didnât want to go to which is a waste of time for all involved, especially GWS.

Hawks on the Slide: How Mitchell is making life hard for himself
Sam McLure went easy on Kennett on Sportsday a few nights ago, wasnât the right time and place but he was trapping him in his own hubris. Kennett alluded to him not talking to the FD when he sent the email to members claiming their fav players are getting nixed. Then how did you know they were getting traded you dill? And the best part; âwe believe we will be pushing for a flag again in 2 to 3 yearsâ⊠lol, yeah ok, whatever you think buddy.

2021 Player Reviews: #5 Christian Petracca
I think the best part is that he has done this without the pressure that would have built up in 2 years with that contract and our drought and his consistency. But he slayed all those dragons and now he is ready for the real final season of GoT where we kill everybody. No, it will be satisfyingâŠ

2021 Player Reviews: #5 Christian Petracca
Hang on now. He was being facetious when BT was doing live on air genetic experiments to cross Daicos and Martin to get Petracca. And instead of saying âBrian, shut the [censored] upâ he said âdecent player.â

Hawks on the Slide: How Mitchell is making life hard for himself
And now they have tried and failed to move Luke Breust. https://www.afl.com.au/news/684092 Classic case of, again, entertaining deals when the player doesnât want to go to the team youâre dealing with. Kennett can obfuscate and run away from his actions but the Hawks want to move their senior players on, but, have not, and do not want be up front with them and actively get them to go. Its a perfect mess they will see disgruntled senior players stick around a club that they know doesnât want them. Lovely.

Welcome to Demonland: Luke Dunstan
I think, fundamentally, you don't respect Dunstan as a player. You can do that, but I think you're wrong and I am happy he is there to back up our flag defence.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Have a look at our contract status: Petracca, Viney, Gawn, Salem, Lever, Langdon, May, Harmes, Brown, and TMac all taken care of. Jackson, Oliver (up in 23), Fritsch, Pickett, Petty and Brayshaw are all thatâs left in terms of our stars to A grade talents. Jackson easily the 2nd most important behind Oliver.

Farewell Luke Jackson
If we had room for Cerra in the cap then we have room to front end a few deals and get some years on the end of Jackson, Oliver, Pickett et al

Merch/Memorabilia
Yes, go to the AFL store tho

Merch/Memorabilia
I thought it was only Rd 1 they were selling. If itâs every game - yes, that is poor form and elitist.

Farewell Luke Jackson
He helped us turn and then dominate a GF. I donât know what youâre waiting for. If we wonât pay him, 17 other clubs will happily.

Hawks on the Slide: How Mitchell is making life hard for himself
Correction - they did draft well. They ainât got nobody coming through.

Hawks on the Slide: How Mitchell is making life hard for himself
I really donât mind the name change @Demonland but for those ârpfc stans,â as the kids say, I was attempting a âHaw-thorn in the sideâ pun that I know three of you would appreciate⊠⊠I will find my own way out. Ah, found the fire door! (thatâs a family guy reference for the two that got that)

COVID & AFL 2021
I donât disagree, I just donât know what the hospital capacity looks like in that scenario which I hope is the only thing that stops us opening up fully (and is bought by the general public IMO).

Hawks on the Slide: How Mitchell is making life hard for himself
As we all love the slide down the ladder of the Hawks I thought it be good if we talk about the current mistakes that Sam âIâm too good to let one of the greatest coaches ever have a dignified exitâ Mitchell is repeating. We all know how them pushing out Hodge and Lewis and co broke their culture (could have learnt something there Sam)⊠And now they are doing the same with established senior players: https://www.afl.com.au/news/683923 Wingard on the table but he doesnât want to be on the table⊠Mess. When TMac and ANB were on the table last year, they were told they should move on and it wasnât a surprise and they should try to control their own destiny. Nothing concrete materialised and you know the rest. But Hawthorn are shopping people that have not been brought on that journey; something tells me the results they will get owing me sane that we saw from TMac and ANB. Discuss.

COVID & AFL 2021
Full capacity will rely on almost universal vaccination of the 12+ population. Only the no hopers talking about their freedumbs will probably never get vaxxed and ruin that dream for 2022 and 2023.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Iâm a fool then. He let himself be thrown around looking for a free. Its not the end of the world but it was ridiculous.

- 2021 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May
I have to say, I thought he was a bit of a thug when he was up north. That hit against Andrews? was horrific. But he was just frustrated and now he can enjoy his last few years in the AFL. And hopefully win a few more flags with Lever. What a dynamic those two have - they both grate on each other from reports but they get a great deal out of each other too.- The 'Afterpay' Kings
Good article. It was savvy to bundle picks forward and get the blokes coming through as mates and maturing together. Salem, Petracca, Brayshaw and Oliver is the OG of that strategy. They will be one club champions that should be in multiple flags. And of course the Jackson Pickett Rivers combo is another masterpiece. It all hinges on good drafting and decent development though and crucially with top picks. I keep hearing the refrain - âthe best recruiters are seen in the 3rd and 4th rounds!â No theyâre not. The best ones donât waste the highest of investments. And Taylor has only one blemish in his time here; Salem, Petracca, Brayshaw, Oliver, Jackson, and Pickett make up 5 of the most impactful 7 players on GF day. With only Viney and Fritsch to round it out. That drafting is why we won the flag. - 2021 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May
