My sources up here in Canberra say that is not what he is on. Take of that what you will.

Over what period? Certainly not near that p.a....

This should happen. And a culture change will happen after - there will be those that have been trained by society that if you aren’t there on the day you aren’t worth the time of day. I would either go with all people in the FD or have a 5 game quota or something like that. The coaches deserve it and for those that say it will demean the medal for the 23 that played - that’s society training you. They don’t do anything alone, none of us do.

Same with Jack Trengove? The Essendon fans are anything but victims. You trust your employers and they lost a lot from that trust. The MFC right now is built it’s success of 2021 on the easily lost and difficult to build up idea of trust and if you didn’t feel for the players during that fiasco - I think you should reflect on that. Especially considering Goodwin was also ‘on the gear’ as he said.

Live and let live. Melksham and Hibberd have that history and treatment by Essendon and then by WADA and the media. That is their history as much as any player having a grief filled past, or any personal challenge. Don’t forget that the real victims in the Essendrug scandal were the players. And your last bit is way OTT.

Yes it is something to be wary about.

Significant to you or me but not for the TPP. That sounds like a chant…

Is it really a curfew? They are not on holidays. They would be home at this time on a weeknight anyway when you are still working… If some of the players are calling it a curfew I would be disappointed. Footy players hey.

Yes, they all have family in Perth. The future 1st has future cousins apparently in Fremantle.

It should have been called “If you’re going through hell…”

You have to go delete your attachments - that’s where they are all stored - your gifs, pics, etc

Geelong could do worse. Geelong have done worse. Good luck to him - it will be so tough to break in because it is really only Fritsch's medium forward role that he can play in our better teams. I am sure we would be upfront with him and right now is when all the clubs are talking to players so his agent should be doing the same for him.
-
Hunt being the sub is interesting - but if you want that run - then just play him. His defensive work is much better and will provide another option to go to Weightman and will make him work the other way.
-
Letting Petty establish himself as a defender is essential for his confidence as an AFL player - I wouldn't move him for 2022.

Things never spiral in the right direction do they?
-
His friends winning a flag will fix that. It will be bittersweet - as it will be for Jayden and for Jake and a few others. That's ok. That is footy. And life.

I am so glad he got to haver this moment as Captain in a final after 12 seasons of failure. It was the best moment of the game IMO and something I think about from time to time when I think about the journey the club is currently on. Nathan was never going to get the fairy tale finish, but he has shaped this club and he helped to lift us to where we are and at the expense of a different, possibly more successful, path in different colours.
-
Ah, ok, yes he would prefer to avoid getting into it and even to the detriment of his own contributions. He is human. I just hope we all move on - if the Demons of 2021 and beyond can deliver a flag and a united, forgiving club, we would want for nothing evermore.
-
He said it was a special moment to be asked and it would be great to play a little role in this - so you are being a bit unfair. He knows his privilege and I appreciate that; he is embarrassed by this unearned spotlight and he shouldn't be.
-
I’m sure there is interest but perhaps not at the terms desired. He should stay for two years and reach FA and give himself a chance to push out TMac or BBB.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KYSAIAH KROPINYERI PICKETT

I find this symbolic for the club to have an avatar of our past issues and missteps at our lowest ebb (Neeld era) to be remembered for what he was at his best for when the club is at its best. I hope he is holding that cup!
