I doubt it. Petracca on the Sunday Footy Show was asked by Barrett that question and he was incredulous; I ran past Gawny and said âalright get upâ and thought âyou canât be doing that, heâs 5â7 and youâre 6â11, câmon mateâ⊠32.15 mins in

The Grand Final Rematch
Losing a game is not the end of the world. The unfurling will be remembered as itâs own thing.

COVID & AFL 2021
At least it is clear. Some hide behind state advice for venues and the like that constantly changes.

Thanks to All Concerned
What âtheyâ have done in 7 years is utterly staggering. Documentary worthy. 30 for 30 type stuff

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Heâs a favourite of the pundit class, I hate the cheap stuff he gets - even that stupid hand off he effed up that led to Brayshaws goal - why are you getting that ball there, Caleb?

The Grand Final Rematch
If itâs a cash decision - the game against the Dogs in Rd 7 is going to get a good time a lot and 75k fans - the Rd 1 unfurling of the flag against GWS will also get 60k+ fans. So why not stretch those out? And members yes, but fans no. Blockbusters will mean people will miss out that want to go - thatâs why they are block busters. I would do it Saturday arvo/twilight and celebrate with no other game on anywhere during the day with Port Adelaide. Weâd get 80k I would say.

The Grand Final Rematch
TBH, I donât like the idea of unfurling the flag in front of the GF losers. I would not like that at all if they did that in 2001. Secondly, Friday night games are not exactly family friendly. I would prefer we play an interstate team during the day and get as many Demons along as want to come. Of course, we shouldnât say no to a blockbuster but I think the club pushing for this is misguided.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
The worst thing that could have happened for Daniel in that instance is if Oliver continued past him and got the ball back from sparrow. His mids [censored] the bed up the field and there wasnât much he could do. I think he played that well, he forced a handball from Oliver and a u-turn kick of one step by sparrow.

Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
We only have 4 spots left. If they want to leave one open for Feb, that makes three and suddenly if Woewodin is who they want then just take him.

AFL Season Opener 2022
I would like our first home game to be at the G against Freo or GCS or GWS. 90k opportunities for Dees fans to do something that hasn't happened for 57 years and has only happened 13 times in 124 years.

2021 Player Reviews: #8 Jake Lever
When he came to the club I knew that something was different - rarely were we chosen by players - especially up and coming stars of the game. Great leader.

rpfc's Schadenfreude Corner
Yes, their talent is like the elves in lord of the rings; their time has come to an end, and they will soon move to the undying lands. Which of course is Fox Footy.

2021 Player Reviews: #7 Jack Viney
Of all the players with a medal itâs Jack and Max that I feel so happy for after they were so affected and impacted by our malaise. He is such a footy player, what a great bull he is.

2021 Player Reviews: #6 Luke Jackson
Helped turn the GF when in the ruck, future star of the game. I wouldnât have taken a ruck at ND3 but he is so much more than that.

2021 Player Reviews: #4 James Harmes
Interrupted season but effective. Bought into a role that sees little midfield time - great for him, he has a flag for it.
-
2021 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem
Best halfback in the game in my eyes, best kick in the team and hard as a rock. Was great to see his mum singing the song - just a lovely totem to new Australia.

2021 Player Reviews: #2 Nathan Jones
Wonderful player that got the most out of himself and others around him. Obviously part of the renaissance of the club and should be revered for his joining the eras of success even if he didnât see the ultimate in either.

Yes, Goodwin is the star of the show in Burgessâs mind. Loved how he spoke about the fact that he was trusted to do his job and not questioned. My biggest takeaway had more to do with the EPL having a massive gap in the areas that Goodwin is so great at. If I was to advise any of the rich people, or in the case of Newcastle United, flagrant murderers who own EPL clubs - it would be this organisational culture that is where their deficiencies seem to lie.

Hawks on the Slide: How Mitchell is making life hard for himself
@Mydeethe Hawks are too consumed by hubris to alter behaviour. Especially if suggested by a Melbourne person.

This âflat out before finalsâ or âlarge training loads before finalsâ has been so often repeated on here without a source. From what I can tell from what the players say and Goodwin and what Burgess says in that pod, we just train hard all the time. And we did the same thing during our earned âbyeâ weeks in the finals. Goodwin just has a premium on training intensity and valuing every session and the players look to have bought into it. The Petracca mention about his 2020 pre-season being a stand out and then everyone came up to his level in 2021 pre-season was indicative of that buy in.

That was great, made me go back and listen to his âtime at Arsenalâ pod and wow, he doesnât go into specifics but he was set up to fail. So happy we had him for as long as we did and he loved his time at the club. Big part of why the team excelled and why our best players were at their peak.

Umm, that sub money helps Andy keep the place going. I donât think the ad revenue is that much really. And ads these days - unless you have a VPN - is you get ads for things that reflect what you google or search for in FB and the like⊠Just sayinâ
